It baffles me.... When there is an option of a liberal republican senator vs. a republican conservative, pro-life, senator, why would Bush and Santorum endorse the liberal?
To: Digger
You know why Digger? I am learning something I think. When one is elected, one finds out that to make this government work, you have to compromise, that is just fact. You represent more than just a party, you represent an entire state, and or country and you almost have to govern from the middle to an extent. You get what things you can that represent your core, but to be honest, you have to give and take. You choose your battles.

I have never liked Specter, never will, and I hope he loses this election. He is not just a RINO, he is a mole.

True, but it's still a crummy way to wake up. :-) Change the channel to Imus *L*
On another note ... I've noticed a number of Specter signs on the side of main roads .. but the signs I've been seeing on peoples lawns .. they are Toomey signs :0)
Oh Oh .. and on the way home from the store tonight .. I'm driving down the street when I see this HUGE 8' elephant sign on someone's front lawn with the words .. "Vote Republican" on it

I was calling likely republican voters for Toomey tonight, there were 5 of us and in the Lehigh Valley, it appeared to be 85% supportive of Pat. My prediction is not just a win, but a landslide mandate for Pat and lower taxes, more freedom, and proper family values.
To: abner
I have yet to see a Specter sign.

Come to think of it I might have seen a Specter sign on one of the main roads. But I have yet to see one on someone's law.
