Nice beginning webby bogden and magden. I have to believe what you say and I hope you are correct.

I am not happy with 700 of our troops killed. But, what I have heard from some of our troops coming back, yes, we are kicking butt.

I have heard some confiential stuff that we just might have to go over to Saudi for ten minutes to stop this stuff. I really don't know.

Judging from FBI murder stats and the car accidents we are doing a better job of killing ourselves than the Iraqi insurgents.

And that's just in two weeks of fighting. Also, enemy ordinance is being spent at an increased rate.

"MY NAME IS BOGDAN AND MY WIFE NAME IS MAGDA - not BOGDEN OR MAGDEN - get it!!!!"

I am so sorry. I did not mean to make a mistake like that.

I should be more careful when I type names. Again, I am sorry for not getting your names right.

Just remember not all of the 700 were due to enemy action. I believe around 175-200 are due to accidents, natural causes, and suicide.

I disagree with everybody who says it doesn't matter what the Iraqi casulties are. It is true that this is war, and in war soldiers die, but we should never allow the objectives of war (in this case, freeing a people from an evil dictator, ridding the world of a terroist base, etc. ) to overide our basic humanity. All human death in war deserves some measure of ...(what?) understanding. Although I am lothe to recommend anything from Hollyweird, "Three Kings" points this out pretty well. Not all dead Iraqis are evil Bathists (in fact, I suspect most aren't. If Saddam is any example, they're a bunch of cowards). Many were just young men looking for a job; unfortunately, they were born on the wrong side of the planet.

heck, with 16,000 deaths in the US from murderers maybe we can convince the liberals to pull out of the US :) :)

Classic.

Iraq is only one front, one theatre in the overall "War on Terror".

I consider it foolish to be fighting a war and not to be concerned with the number of forces you are ultimately up against.

Im not really that good at statistics, hopefully someone else can add to this, but I will give it a shot.

There are roughly 1.2 Billion Muslims in the world.

Depending on who you ask, 5-10% of the Muslims worldwide are considered fundamentalists ie. extremists. (120 Million) These are the ones that you will not be able to make peace with or be able to reason with. These people are fighting for an idealogy and are willing to die for their cause. Many of these individuals from various Muslim countries and the West will be drawn to Iraq (the battlefield) to confront the "enemy"

Of that number (120 Million), roughly 50% are woman and so that leaves 60 million. There are a lot of children to consider as well which further reduces the number of military aged men. A conservative estimate might be in the range of 10-15 million.

And so you have 10-15 Million fighters worldwide supported financially and idealogically by 105-110 Million fundamentalists worldwide.

Once leaders are identified the number becomes further reduced to roughly 3-5 Million. These are the ones who must be killed.

A lot of people think that killing so many of them will just create new terrorists. I would dispute that. From my own personal experience I dont see that happening. Moderate Islam ultimately can play a role in absorbing those former extremists who no longer find themselves receiving moral support or any form of leadership in their quest for "Jihad". Therefore the solution involves taking the out the upper and mid level leadership of militant Islam.

An "ustaz" in a Madrasah only controls roughly 20-30 individuals. These groups of 20-30 individuals aged from around 12-16 years old are relentlessly drilled day and night weakened by inadaquate food and sleep deprivation. A typical meal for dinner might be a hard boiled egg, rice with a few condiments. A hungry child will be told that nourishment can be obtained from prayer and from the Quran. "Tajud" Prayers (Night Prayers) are performed and these children are woken in the middle of the night to pray until sunrise.

What I found particually interesting is that the "Uztaz" will typically ask the children to pray not for themselves but for the leader of the Madrasah...asking Allah to aid the leader in leading the children... and this is where the power of suggestion starts to come into play. When the children are asked to do something later by the leader of the Madrassa they firmly believe that they are doing what Allah wills them to do and not what the leader wills them to do.

The methodology to retrieving these individuals is similar to deprogramming someone who has been brainwashed. I have had a lot of personal experience with this and found it actually doable on a small scale in the same size groups of 20-30 individuals. Trust becomes a major issue and one must be a Muslim, have an extensive understanding of Islam AND the Bible and be able to converse in the local dialect.

And so... there you have it. Sorry for ranting.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say the actual figures are suppressed because we killed a hell of a lot of Iraqis in a very unfair fight. We destroyed a whole bunch of Iraqi divisions on our way in, and have killed and captured many enemies since. But us vs. them is not why we do this. Soldiers die in far-off places defending our right to live in peace over here.

I am not happy with 700 of our troops killed. But, what I have heard from some of our troops coming back, yes, we are kicking butt.
I have heard some confidential stuff that we just might have to go over to Saudi for ten minutes to stop this stuff. I really don't know.

If we published the kill-ratio, AGP and thoughtomator, the democRATS would all die from terminal diarrhea! The ass-kicking we're doing is un-farking-believeable!

The nice part is that the wogs are starting to gather in bunches. It makes eradicating them easier.............FRegards

UNFAIR FIGHT ? it was saddam who chose not to follow longstanding terms and agreements with the UN and America 12 years and 17 resolutions.

Warning after warning he was told and time after time he did not heed the words given him yet he would threaten the use of WMD at every turn.

He knew what he was up against an still he chose his nations path.

Unfair ? i think not at any time he could have just said ok i was lying we have nothing come and search or at the least he could have just fled into exile and it would have been over.

We treated him fairly for the 12 years he shot at our planes we treated him fairly the first time we invaded to stop him from invading iran by not killing him then at the behest of the UN.

If anyone was not fair it was Saddam to himself and his own people!

Quite fascinating and entirely plausible.

"Once leaders are identified the number becomes further reduced to roughly 3-5 Million. These are the ones who must be killed."

Have you analyzed the percentage of how many of those are in the United States actively pursuing their Islamic goals?

I believe the figures I used were worldwide figures. 5-10% of all Muslims worldwide. To answer your question, I have only studied the situation in Southeast Asia.

The Southeast Asian connnection is often ignored for some reason by the United States who seems to have a primary focus only on the Middle East despite the fact that Arabs (Including OBL and cohorts) have been using Southeast Asia and the Sub Continent as the primary source of all their recruits.

Southeast Asia is also the springboard and transit point for exporting cell members to the United States. The situation is really quite organized with a complete network of safehouses in Malaysia (Klang and KL), Singapore (Bencoolen and Serangoon Rd.) and Thailand (Surat Thani and Haadyai).

The cell members will be given accomodation locally and the required papers indicating they work for a local company as an employee. The local company is of course affiliated with another company in the United States. The cell member is then transfered to the United States. Money and expenses are fronted to the cell members through a few 'money changers' near Serangoon Road in Singapore who receive funds from mainly Dubai.

These 'money changers' will also offer up to US5000 cash for help obtaining a visa at times or by giving letters and or 'security' on Company letterhead stating that a certain individual is an employee of yours. If you are caucasian and you live here long enough you will eventually find out how it all works. Did you ever really think that these people made their money on the exchange rate? LOL

I suppose I rant on about this a lot because Im frustrated and it seems no one cares or even realizes what is happening here.

This is something I try to get through to people. I had a friend explain it this way. It's like you are listening to a football game and the announcer comes on and says, "Well folks, it looks like the Redskins are in trouble. The Chargers have scored fourteen points on them." And the announcer never tells you that the Skins are beating the Chargers 51-14. That is what the news media is doing. It is giving one-sided stats, and the American public just believes we are dying over there. They do not know that we have inflicted thousands of casualties.
