I'm touched. I feel like, upon her release from rehab, she wrote this article just for me.

The PASSION OF THE CHRIST was not horribly vivid

ENOUGH

to be 100% accurate.

Nevertheless,

I felt that given Christ's loving me enough to pay such a sacrifice,

the least I could do was to see the best representation in the last 2,000 years.

I've often felt but somewhat wondered if I'd have had the pluck to stay at The Cross like Mary and John.

I like to think that the further identification with my Lord fostered by, during watching this film might indicate that I might have had that much pluck, BY HIS GRACE.

I encourage one and all to see it as many times as they feel led to see it. Let it burn it's images into each heart, mind, soul, spirit. Let us not forget one drop of His Precious Blood, one atomic particle of His Precious torn flesh.

He did it for each of us.

Is watching in awe such a terrible price for us to pay in respect and gratitude?

I see I don't have to ping you to this.

7) The answer is, if I recall, about eight. The question is: How many times can you watch Mel's whipped, blended, frapped, pureed Jesus, his body rife with so many oozing crimson gouges it looks like some decimated animal you ran over with your car, twice, with snow tires -- how many times can you watch Jesus fall to the hard gravel ground with a long, low moan in terrible blood-drenched slow motion without, finally, stifling a laugh?

This is a women that is willfully spiritually blind. Miss Morford, I hope you read this tonight, as I will pray for your soul.

Seems like the boy is a little late to the party (didn't most of the bigoted, leftist, anti-Christian, hateful attempts to stop people from seeing the film end weeks ago)? Can't imagine why a homo would be offended by the Bible/Christ/Christians/Christianity and have an axe to grind. Homosexuality is deviant behavior.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed The Passion, even though I am a non-believer.

Perhaps you, like so many across the planet, are more than a bit baffled by the runaway success of "The Passion of the Christ."

Nope.

Just do what I do - e-mail Ms. Morford and tell her you're praying for her. Drives her crazy!

Yes, I really do pray for Mark. He needs it bad!

No, Mark...actually, I'm baffled by the fact that you took a month off and judging from your writing, you're no more chemically clean nor sober than you were before you left. I'm baffled by the fact that you're still alive instead of a pile of carbonized ash due to a freak lightning strike. Most of all, I'm baffled by the fact that all the blunt-force trauma to your rectum hasn't brain-damaged you into a coma. Get help soon, Mark...I believe you'll find that the good Lord is somewhat less entranced by delicious screaming naked nuance than you are.

Slightly off topic... my hubby and I were wondering who ErrAmerica's prime audience would be. It strikes me it's deluded people like Morford.

Democrats are divided against themselves... minorities don't like a lot of the gay agenda; union members are primarily interested in high wages and actually support quite a bit of Bush's agenda; women by and large don't buy into the leftist side of many issues. So who is mainly in Franken's and Garofolo's audience? Environmentalists and gays? Does any other group buy the leftist line lock, stock and barrel?

You catch glimpses of this revolting cartoonishness through barely parted fingers and you think, goddammit, there goes half an hour of my vital life force that I will require much sex and vodka and Buddhism to recover.

The above quote from the article says it all about the author.

Thanks for the ping. I couldn't read beyond what's posted above 'cause I just don't have the stomach tonight.

These people who are insensed by The Passion are an incredible lot, and a lot like the undead Dracula.

The Passion inspired a killer to turn himself in, that is an incredible Testament to the Power of Chirst, and to the best of my knowledge there is no historical secular equivalent to that.

So let the dead bury their dead, I don't mean that in a spiteful sense at all, I just mean I want no part of these people or this mentality.

Thank G-d I'm Jewish and not allowed to go to any movie as theaters are considered "places of scorners". So I'm spared from Kill Bill or Passion or any of the other mindless drivel that Hollywood continues to put out.

If 'Passion' is revisionist, it's in order to counter the last few hundred years of liberal theologian/non-theist conspiro-wackiness that has been hell-bent on denying the historical reality of the Gospel at any cost.
