US senator, Hillary Clinton, has called for the full publication of the Cory Report into alleged collusion in the North. Speaking at a dinner in New York, held to honour her work for the peace process, Senator Clinton praised the Finucane family’s campaign for the truth. Widow of murdered Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane, Geraldine, told the group of Irish American lawyers that it was crucial to keep up the pressure for a full judicial inquiry. She said London may try a legal mechanism to water-down the type of inquiry launched when the Cory Report is published at the end of the month. Senator Clinton said the Cory Report, on alleged British state collusion in the murder of Pat Finucane, must be published in it’s entirety.
