Before entering his office the camera panned down to get a closeup of his doormat which has a picture of President Bush. McAuliffe made a point of wiping his shoes across the picture of Bush and laughed like it was very funny and not a bit disrespectful. It was stunning.

I do believe that there are countries that people who hold ideals such as McAuliffe maintain would welcome them with open arms. However, if he were to put a welcome mat with their premier or president's face on it he would be the one looking up from a prone position. No, he wouldn't be looking up, he would be facing up, lifeless. They should be thankful that they live in a country that allows an individual to state an opinion. This action by Terry and the DNC is despicable and so does not qualify as an opinion, unless you would say an opinion by a jackass.
