The left only has problems with military operations when perceived conservatives are in power. Then of course no matter how successful in reality the war/operation is, it is touted as a gross failure.

Does anyone really take to heart anything that this poor excuse for a man has to say? He is hanging on to the coat tails of the Kennedy name by a thread.

Wait a second . . I thought it was "the economy stupid ?

-- The number of working Americans, 138.5 million, is a level never previously attained in our history.

-- The percentage of families living in poverty today averages 9.4%, a decrease of approximately 1.1% from the 90’s.

-- The combined net worth of all US households is $44.4 trillion, the highest ever achieved.

-- Consumer prices (inflation) increased just 1.9% last year.

-- The stock market has advanced 45% in the last 12 months.

Teddys boy is going down.

Ted lies.

"The prime minister of Spain paid a high price last Sunday for supporting us in the war, and for misleading the Spanish people."

The reality in Spain is Aznar, The prime minister, was leaving office because his term limit was up. The prime minister of Spain was succeeding power in Spain because it's the law, which is more than we could say for a whiney algore in 2000.

The Iraq war WAS Bush's positive with the voters. The the Dems made a concerted effort with the help of the media to rip it to shreds.

"CIA Director George Tenet stated in a speech last month that the agency told the administration before the war, "Saddam did not have a nuclear weapon, and probably would have been unable to make one until 2007 to 2009.""

I'm surprised no one else has commented on this line. Evidently, Teddy would have waited until till 2007 or 2009 to act? Teddy's not debating that Iraq was developing nuclear weapons only that we should have waited until their deployment was more imminent. Does any one think this makes sense?

The case for war was based on two key claims: that Saddam was on the verge of acquiring nuclear weapons, and that he had close ties to the Al Qaeda terrorists responsible for the atrocities of Sept. 11. Both claims proved to be demonstrably false.

I guess ole Teddy Chappaquiddick missed the part about Iraq documents that have been recovered by coalition troops that PROVE the link between Hussein and the 9/11 hijackers as well as other documents and admissions by Iraqi nuclear scientists that PROVE that Hussein was working on developing a nuclear weapon. FWIW, Bush never claimed that Iraq was on the "VERGE" of acquiring nuclear weapons.

However, given the choice between booze and truth/integrity, Teddy Chappaquiddick will choose the booze everytime.

And he hasn't ever paid an income tax, while voting to raise our taxes every time he turned around. How about that!

Did anyone see the new cartoon series "This Just In", on the "Spike-TV" channel? The first show of the series this week absolutely *roasted* Ted Kennedy...

Saw it. and the sequence you described had me rolling! they really put it to old teddy. I hadn't heard about the show when the missus told me about this episode. I hope it stays this good.

made it clear early on that the war on terrorism could be used politically.

....by the Democrats.

What a hilarious accusation from someone who's been getting passes his whole political life by waving his brothers' bloody shirts. No politicizing going on there.

What a besotted, dangerous fool.
