Missed the "T", I guess. Title should be "Those Without Swords". Thanks,
Lando

Using a sword on a hose dulls the blade and stops any liquid from travelling beyond the point of your blow. I shall now read the post. Thank you.

It's a worthwhile read. Hope my gaffe doesn't distract too much!

Loved this one...Captures the frustration of those of us who can do nothing but vote, pray, give money and cheer on the good guys!

Another worthwhile quote from that movie:
THEODEN: "I must think of my people. I will not risk open war."
ARAGORN: "Open war is upon you, whether you would risk it, or not."

If the general population had even the slightest clue what our soldiers, airmen, marines, and sailors have been confronting lately they would go into a panic. Sometimes it's best to not tell. I know this sounds wrong, but perhaps those not willing to fight still serve a purpose. They keep the sheep from seeing they are surrounded and infiltrated by wolves. Keeps 'em calm. Just like throwing the covers over your head so the monsters can't see you.

You're right. What I meant to say is this: The damn hippies don't have a clue how truly dangerous and evil the world is. Even though they made it. They would rather pretend none of this exists and go to a peace rally while our enemies strike us as we've never been struck before. And promise more, worse attacks.
