I was bummed.

I was kept off of the corner as well. After last year, I would say I was pretty bummed too.

Apparently there were some back doors to some of the businesses that would have allowed us to get past the sidewalk blockade. We may have to research that for next year.

I was fascinated as the camera panned the audience after the touching tribute to Katherine Hepburn, reminding everyone of her best films. My eyes were misty, for sure, but the Hollywierdos barely applauded, looked bored and many were chatting with others. They aren't movie lovers. That bunch of narcissistic airheads aren't even movie lovers.

BTW, it was really funny watching Sean Penn try and fail to put a coherent thought together during his acceptance speech. He can't do it without a script.

Didn't you think it was funny that Michael Moore got stomped by an ELEPHANT??? :-)

The Oscar experience was great. It was a once in a life time experience. T.V. Guide took great care of us. I am glad I was selected to go. Everyone was great to us except the damn rent-a-cop security...I mean come on, They even made us stand in the long lines to get through the security check points when we were in our Dress Blues...They have to be out of their minds to even think that a group of Marines in uniform would pose a terrorist threat...It was insulting!!! All in all though it was a blast. The food, Hotel, Town cars, Red carpet seats, and the Night of 100 stars Party afterwards...All I have to say is thanks.

I felt like saying to the police: "IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE MEAN TO THE PEOPLE WHO LIKE YOU, WHO ARE YOU GOING TO BE NICE TO?" They were totally ridiculous. Sorry, but in my opinion, they made themselves look bad.
