Which book was that? The only Uris book I remember reading was "Battle Cry" and that was decades ago.

Battle Cry was his first novel, written in 1953.

The one I'm talking about is A God in Ruins, written in 1999.

He did write one more, I see. I've not read it and won't.

Leon Uris will go down as one of America's greatest writers.

You don't have to be Jewish to appreciate them. I enoyed every one his books. Here is a Google list .
