JEWISH PING LIST - does Free Republic have one? (vanity)

Does Free Republic have a Jewish ping list? If so, I'd like to be added, even though I'm not a Jew. If not, perhaps one is needed. What do you think about this?

Sounds like a good idea. I think some are under the impression that, because we are praising The Passion, and rebuking its detractors, that some of us are against Jews altogether.

I, too, had no idea this list existed and would like to added. In interviews, book signings, and other events, I have often been asked if I based my writing on anyone and my answer for a long time was no - it is what it is. But then, when Leon Uris died, I had almost a flashback to reading Exodus in my youth and realized emotionally how tied my views were to that experience. To the extent that I 'berated' Daniel Pipes in one of our dialogues for praising 'religious zionists' and failing to acknowledge 'secular zionists'.

Exodus started my interest in Jewish history.
That and Mila 18.
I bought anything Uris including his last book which broke my heart. How could the man who wrote so eloquently of the sorrow of a disarmed and persecuted people write such a gun-grabbing load of BS?

Which book was that? The only Uris book I remember reading was "Battle Cry" and that was decades ago.

Sure, Alouette runs it. Goes to show how big Free Republic is, that these specialized lists get lost in the massive inflow of information and commentary.
See also SJackson for generalized Middle East news, and yonif for even more specialized American/Israeli relations and foreign policy information. All these will put you in the ground seats at the fifty yard line of contemporary Middle East events.
