"Who was the statuesque blonde strutting out of Sen. John Kerry's palatial Louisburg Square manse late Monday night when Kerry's wife, heiress Teresa Heinz, was on Nantucket?

We are told she is a 22-year-old Harvard student and former model who, Kerry's people claim, was dropping off a resume."

I wish people would get a grip and read this article. This is not the woman in the photos--Kristen Murphy. For one things KM is older. For another she lists her education and doesn't list Harvard.

Please bother to read the articles. Don't go off half-cocked. It just makes us all look like idiots.

The woman from the 1998 story that was dropping off the resume was a 22 year old model from Harvard. Here's info from the Boston Herald:

We are told she is one Maria Goodman, a 22-year-old Harvard student and former model who, Kerry's people claim, was dropping off a resume

Drudge makes it sound like something that has been going on recently (up to his announcement for presidency at least), so either he had a long relationship with her, or this is a different girl.

Yes. Except that it also said that they have been sitting on this for years.

But it very well may be another person.

Drudge says she may have worked for the AP. The Hill article says Kerry was involved with a young British Journalist, who dumped him for a member of Pink Floyd.

This doesn't sound too recent (and the Hill article is from 2003), but this might be one and the same person.

I've also heard that she has gone over seas--so she might have gone back to England.

Hon ... you've already cemented yourself as FR Rookie of the Year. First the Turnipseed interview, and now this!

Absolutely!

The woman that dumped him for the pink floyd guitarist was gin heiress Emma Gilbey, who is now married to someone at the NYT. That was during his single days when he was looking for a rich woman to support him. totally unrelated.

I have just been informed as to the real identity of the woman in question:

Alex Polier, formerly of the Associated Press.

Is that she?

This is what I am told by usually reliable sources.

She looks like the kind of person who would write the kind of stories she pens for the AP.

If that photo is the woman in question, looks like JFK called her only because Janeane Garofalo wasn't available.

Yeah, I went there via Google.

Hey, I think she's cute. Anyway, this is what I have been told by usually reliable sources.

In reality the identity of the woman in question is only significant insofar as it helps establish the veracity of the larger story--at least to my mind.

That photo may be of one of the insuranceless people described in the story written by the AP writer in question, as there is no other identification at the website where it's posted.

Bryce Schroer-Shepord, who was laid from Oxygen, Oprah Winfrey's media conglomerate, sits in her new office. She is one of 1.4 million Americans to lose their health insurance over the last year.

BINGO!

Yeah, I was thinking that too, scanning the article to see if they mentioned who it was.

Even if it is Polier, I don't think it is hard to believe.

That is from the photo's caption, which due to some crappy html can't be seen on some browsers. So your photo is not Alex.

"who was laid from Oxygen"

You might want to rephrase that. You might also see if the mods can remove the photo, just so... you known.
