"There was a right way to hold Saddam Hussein accountable," including working through the United Nations and "living up to the words 'last resort."
"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998

After he loses to Bush his Republican wife is gonna walk him around on leash and collar for years to come.
Man I hope she likes to video those kind of things (as you know all things like that wind up on the internet nowadays)!~}
And don't laugh, on his 150K salary how is he gonna pay her back all those Million$?

I dunno maybe small things come in big packages. After all Bill Clinton was about 6'2" or 6'3" and we all remember how the girls all described him!

the smack talk, as if this election were some Arena Football game. I'm picturing JFK with a "He Hate Me" jersey. Good grief.

In his campaigning around the country for numerous democratic hopefuls it is said that Clinton is doing the work of three men:
Larry, Moe and Curly.
Which one are you Johnny? The missing link?

Is this the real deal? If so, the RNC should buy some billboards and put it up:
"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."

Al Frankin wasn't there to beat the heckler up?He's still with Dean. Maybe when Dean drops out, he'll throw all of his celebrity thug support behind Kerry.

"living up to the words 'last resort."Interpretation: Doing nothing until it's too late to do something useful.
They should try to pin him down on exactly what it would have taken for him to make the decision to go into Iraq. It would be more lies, but it would also be amusing to watch.

A winner never quits and a quitter never wins But Democrats do not support or endorse Winners and Achievers.
Democrats would rather not keep score.
Democrats would rather outlaw dodge-ball!
If there are winners, then their must be losers and we sure don't want to hurt their feeling, do we?

The next time Kerry and his Demo friends criticize our effort in Iraq, he should consider this:
It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.
It took less time to find Saddam's sons in Iraq than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Teddy Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sunk at Chappaquiddick.
It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!!!!
Damn our military is GREAT

Kerry did not specifically defend his vote on Iraq, but said, "There was a right way to hold Saddam Hussein accountable," including working through the United Nations and "living up to the words 'last resort."'
What a maroon this Kerry is -
From Powell's opening remarks to the UN:
New York City
February 5, 2003 ...
Last November 8, this Council passed Resolution 1441 by a unanimous vote. The purpose of that resolution was to disarm Iraq of its weapons of mass destruction. Iraq had already been found guilty of material breach of its obligations stretching back over 16 previous resolutions and 12 years.
Resolution 1441 was not dealing with an innocent party, but a regime this Council has repeatedly convicted over the years.
Resolution 1441 gave Iraq one last chance, one last chance to come into compliance or to face serious consequences. No Council member present and voting on that day had any illusions about the nature and intent of the resolution or what serious consequences meant if Iraq did not comply.
Over
16 previous resolutions and 12 years.
I think that says HOW effective the UN is without action (by us - the US)) to back up those words.

Actually he used a technicality to leave Vietnam. Three purple hearts with no missed duty. Surely you have no idea what a stupid statement you have just made. Savage attacks on the honorable military service of a man who earned three Purple Hears and a Silver Star is hardly the way to win friends and influence people. Or to show respect to this site and it's owner.
When you Post such tripe you just invite someone to ask you in what superior manner were George Bush's Purple Hearts and Silver Star earned? Why not just stick to arguing politics? And accept that Kerry's military service is head and shoulders above all other contempory politicians except possibly the equally hated John McCain.
Viscious, false insults against people's honest and honorable combat service to our country just does not seem in keeping with conservative principles. Just my hard headed Rat Faced Vietnam Vet Enlisted Opinion.
I would like to hear Jim Robinson comment on this.

He's worse than a dork.
As Mark Steyn said on Hugh Hewitt's radio program yesterday, he's despicable and a contemptible man.
