A new Palestinian Authority TV video meant to stir hatred for Israel has co-opted theme music from a Microsoft video game.

Israel-based Palestinian Media Watch says it contacted Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Wash., which said the use is unauthorized.

PA television has shown a variety of videos for many years that portray violence as heroic and death for the sake of Allah as a goal for children.

This video, shown six or seven times a day since Nov. 30, depicts still pictures of Palestinian children then superimposes targets on them, as if Israeli soldiers are shooting them one by one.

The music in the background comes from the Microsoft video game Halo.

A Microsoft customer service representative responded to PMW, "We were not aware of any media from the Palestinian Authority nor was permission granted to incorporate the Halo soundtrack as background music."

The video can be viewed here with a broadband connection, or here with a 56K connection.

wow.....that was lame.

You'd think if they were really fighting for their lives they could churn up a little more creativity.

wow...I didn't realize they had such a societal suicide-bomber assembly line going on. I suppose I always imagined a few pansy Osama-like cowards recruiting kids to do things they're to afraid or smart to accomplish.

There's something terribly wrong about a society that has such a total and utter disregard for life, its own and others.

If we american's had such a cause, how many of us would you see blowing ourselves up to kill at most like 20 people. I figure alive I could kill alot more ememy then I could dead.

But then again I'd be trying to kill the enemy, while they're trying to make a political statement.
