I'm glad his union-owned ass is gone. Not just a miserable failure, but a LOSER.
My tagline is what finally did him in, you know.

Is Dick Gephardt a miserable failure? He's a Senator, one of the happiest things that can happen to a person. Can't ask for much more.

No. I think that is an unfair assessment. Gephardt is a politician and liberal. He has done some things in Congress that have helped the country. Most of his liberal leanings I think are misguided.
I can disagree with his "theology" since that is what the democrats have embraced, the secular humanism and socialist theology, but I do believe in giving credit where credit is due. Remember, we aren't Clinton Kool-Aide drinkers, nor are we DU mindless, headbanging, zombies and captives of brainwashing.
Would I vote for him? Heck no.

Of course he's a miserable failure. It's time for him to wipe of the egg on his face. What a loser.
I wonder how many of you who are reaping praise on him now, after he pulled out of the race, were saying the same things prior to Iowa.
He is a whinning little wimp like Bonier was and Dashole still is. Are you going to say how nice Dashole was when he is politically finished? Please....
And if you respond to this critique, I'll brodcast cast your opposition in NY, Mich, New Mexico, Kentucky, W. Virginia, Penn., Colorado, and then I'll go to Washington DC and tell GW. YOOOOooooohhhhhhheeeeaaaalllll!!!!
Grin...

"The guy's got more money than 99.9% of the world's population could ever dream of, hardly a failure."
My mom always said that stuff to me when I'd tell her that the Bee Gees sucked. She'd say, "You wish you had their money." My response was, "I guess I'd be rich person that sucked."
Truth is that there's nothing worse than a fool with money, except a fool that's poor. (BTW, please don't get angry that I hated the Bee Gees; it was my anti-disco punk-metal phase of life).

Rightwhale you're usually more adept at facts. Forgive me for the correction: Little Dick is a representative.
Thankfully, he never turned a "schumer."
Imagine the unending hell of three decades worth of two year campaigns.

I vividly remember Gephardt standing in a Virginia elementary school telling the students that if the (1994) Republican Congress passed their proposed budget, that the students would lose their lunch program. A LIE!
The school principal denied his statement the following day by pointing out that their school lunch program did NOT receive any Federal Funding! Oh well, what did the students know?

I'm thinking of running. Heard new federal law allows gov't to pay you lost wages/earnings for the year you campaign. If I win just one term, I get free healthcare and a lifetime pension plus all the perks. What a gig?

What a gig? Campaign slogan: Congressman should not be a career. One term, no pay, back to the farm.

No no. You must learn and accept the Democratic-Republican's position on this site. We must be pragmatic about politics not an ideological "fringe" tin hat enemy within.
My slogan will be: Vote Sully: All things to all people. You think I'd win a seat? There's one open in my district.

...there's been hardly a whiff of scandal...Was he involved in keeping the election open to steal it from Ashcroft, and didn't one of his thugs rough up an opponent in a parade during electiontime? Those two incidents stick out with me but they're kinda foggy and I'm not sure if it was Gephardt that was involved in these two incidents.
