I agree. This is actually a hit article on Dean. Somebody, once said, that when Americans vote for President, they often basically vote for somebody they would like to hang out with, have a beer with on a Saturday. Carter was an exception, though a nice guy, the Nixon/Ford thing was in effect.
Bill Clinton, as sleazy as he is, would probably be loads of fun at a party, compared to Poppa Bush. George W. on the other hand is the guy you want at your BBQ, rather than Al Gore.
Dean is toast. A wealthy kid, who was given money, makes alot of money, but is culturally illiterate is not going to win a presidential election.
It kinda reminds me of Ralph Nader in a sense. Nader is a cheap ass SOB, but he has a ton of money. That does not a president make.

Can you even imagine working for a micro-managing buttwipe like that? Howard Dean is nothing more, nor less, than Jimmeh Cahtuh -- with an attitude.

I agree. This doesn't sound like how a rich kid from NY would turn out, unless, he is sick.

If he ever becomes president, we would not have those options. No doubt about it, that would be a horrible fate for our nation.

This is pretty disturbing. Dean is not a man who should be leading the nation on a good day, let alone a day of crisis. It also bothers me that a man with this level of anxiety and other odd compulsions lacks the self awareness to take himself out of this political process. His drive for power must be mighty powerful.

Since he has only the one set of clothes for the campaign trail...does this mean they don't get laundered? Man, his underwear and socks must stink like a skunk.

I can't stand Dean, but in fairness to him, Bush was a lot the same way about clothing.
One of the best books about him describes him taping the tassels back onto his loafers and wearing an old sweater for years that had been purchased for him, as a joke, from a thrift store.
For W to do it sounds cute and endearing to me. Dean is just creepy in every way. SHIVER!!!

He sure doesn't sound like a big-spender, which is what Democrats are.

Where to start??? Well, first off, the guy seems like a compulsive control freak, which explains he desire to be the President. His taste in music indicates a lack of maturity and a resistence to change and taping expensive shoes (like Johnston Murphy tassel loafers) was a fad in the seventies at Ivy league schools, I even remember guys putting tape on new shoes. This man is extremely anal.

He wore his prom tuxedo to one of President Clinton's White House state dinners to save money, but coughed and split his pants and had to be escorted home by state troopers covering his posterior. There are people who KEEP their prom tuxedos??
I went to three, never bought one.

I hate this kind of self-righteous, ahem......niggerdly-ness. My retired parents live in an upscale four bedroom three-story home, drive two newer cars, and like to brag about how they reuse foil and coffee filters. That's disgusting.
To: billorites
He sounds like my FIL - a cheap, obsessive-compulsive control freak. Yikes !!

Difference between Dean(Gore) and Bill Clinton...
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.-- C. S. Lewis

And does he insist that both sides of that paper gets used as well? That would be truly frugal.
To: JimVT
Yeah, I figured that this was a "Hey, look, I'm just like you proles! Vote for me!" list.
Otherwise, this would be a sign of a genuine mental disorder.
