"I'm going after everybody because I'm tired of being the pin cushion here," Dean said Monday.

The doctor is definitely not a pin cushion. A pinhead, yes, but a pin cushion no.

I love it! I almost can't believe the Dems are doing this to themselves with no outside influence. Is Lee Atwater somehow pulling the strings, from that big Free Republic in the sky?

He was on the offensive Monday and Edwards was a frequent target.

Smart strategy. Edwards is a real threat. He could win in Iowa and in New Hampshire and then have unstoppable momentum and end up as President in November. Yup. Edwards is the man! Dean has got to knock him out now. Clark and Kerry are small potatoes compared to the Edward juggernaut. [/sarcasm]

lol...and I'm loving every minute of it!

I particularly like how he's going to "take the high road" now that he got his a$$ handed to him by "slap tha donkey" Sharpton.

Usually when someone is barraged with criticism, and they say, "I'm not going to respond to that...I'm taking the high road", it means they have no answer, and they know the accusations are true.

Dean, in not so many words, just admitted that Al was right about everything he said.

I almost fell over laughing.

All I could hear was a whining little wimp saying "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa there picking on me."

f they want to change Washington, they should not vote for a Washington politician

The vast vast majority of politicians are the same from school board to senator

Power hungry and arrogant and egotistical

They gravitrate to the positions cause the love POWER and will do just about anything to stay in power once they get it

Only difference between GOP and democrats is their voters

GOP voters to some extent have standards but many are just like the democrat voters as proved by posters on this site and excuse behaviour if there is a R next to he name

I wonder if Mr. Dean has anything truly great to offer the USA? It seems he spends most of his time showing how mad he gets. This is just the kind of man we need for president of a country that often has to work between many peoples for facilitate decisions. It seems it his way or no way at all. I wonder how his demeanor would play out in negotiations with Mr. Arafat or Mr. Sharon, Mr. Putin, and how about Korea. What is he really offering the American voter that is better than George Bush. Mr. Dean ought to hire a boxing promoter for the kind of language he is using.
He says he is the only candidate tough enough to stand up to George Bush. What does that mean?

I hear that a lot and it bothers me. Even if we grant that the two parties are 99% the same (which I do not grant), what if there were one difference between the two? Would not that alone justify supporting one party over the other?

Look at abortion -- is there ANY chance that the Democrats will work to overturn Roe v Wade and remove Constitutional protection for this abomination? NONE! How about the Republicans? Well, look at partial birth abortion legislation. Look at the judges Bush is trying to get put on federal benches. On the issue of abortion that is a clear difference between the parties. For me, that's all it takes.

Well, Dean is right. He's the original anti-war candidate. All the others, including Clark, are trying to gloss over that fact. If you're a true anti-war Democrat, and you don't vote for either Dean or Kucinich or Sharpton, then you aren't a true anti-war Democrat. It's as simple as that. And since Kucinich and Sharpton don't have a realistic chance of winning the nomination, then Dean is right to say the obvious: if you are against the war, and you've always been against the war, then you should be voting for Dean.

Maybe he should cool the vein-popping temper when he says it... but he's right to say it.

I don't think the fact that the wife is more interested in her medical career than gettin' pretty for her husband's maniacal aspirations is a negative.

There's plenty to pick on without slamming her. Plus, it could garner him the sympathy vote from plain women everywhere.

That is what happens
I am just pointing out you shouldn't be deceived into thinking politicians take the majority of their positions based on beliefs other than staying in power
When you realize that you won't be as devastated when they reverse postions or don't live up to campaign promises or so called GOP positions( as Bush did on CFR and imigration or don't you think he did this on Rove's advice to garner votes )

Let's skip the cheap shots at innocent bystanders. This is the kind of infantile stuff I expect from the other side.

Pointing out the FACT that she's as ugly as a mud fence doesn't make it a cheap shot...I just wondered why Mean Howie Dean keeps her under wraps...now I know!

The thought of Dean "Shooting Back" is scary - very s-c-a-r-y. That man should never be allowed near a loaded 'anything'!

BTW, as an M.D. this guy must has really sucked stunk. As his wife confirms, the only place he could get a residency was Vermont. No hospital in NY (city or state), Chi, LA, Detroit, San Fran, etc, etc, would take him for pete's sake. Now that's bad!
I wouldn't let him remove a splinter!
