My neighbor claims that redheads are descended from a superior race of people. He, of course, is a redhead, as am I, but I don't know that I agree with him on that. But I do know that studies have shown that redheads require more of all types of anesthesia than others do, and most doctors will tell you that redheads tend to bleed more easily and in larger quantities than others as well.

My ex-wife (1977), who was a red-head, said that her doctor told her that there is a higher incident of yeast infections also.

I particularly liked the article about the fierce fighting, red headed Scotmen, because my father's Irish (protestant) surname mean fierce fighter or warrior.
