I don't think that just because it isn't a video automatically Osama is dead. He may be dead, he may not be. But if he has changed his appearance via hair dye, shaving, plastic sugery, etc, then it would be logical (if he is alive) not to be on video.

I've said it before and I guess I have to say it again. It DOESN'T MATTER whether we think he's dead or alive. It just matters what the other islamics think. Radio, TV, doesn't matter. Most of them don't have TVs anyway. Video doesn't matter.

What matters is that these folks think he's alive and we havent gotten him yet. That way, he can say he's winning.

When the CIA says "it's probably him" will those of you who insist on the video proof finally give up the ghost? He's alive. We blew it in Tora Bora.

A New Kind of ''Mad'' Policy

Because of its soldiers' religious convictions it is more than willing to die in order to attack the U.S. This enemy has no identifiable country or family against which to retaliate. Its followers are dispersed over a number of Muslim countries, so there is no place or specific people
against which to retaliate.


So what does this new kind of enemy hold dear? What is it that he holds so dear that he will cease and desist rather than lose it?


During the "good old days" of the Cold War with the Soviet Union, the U.S. kept them in check by having an arsenal of nuclear weapons that would obliterate their country if they attacked ours. It was called the doctrine Of "Mutually Assured Destruction." This brutal but effective policy kept the massive nuclear arsenals of both sides from ever being used.


Is there a way to apply this doctrine to this new unique threat? I believe there is.


This new enemy is fanatically devoted to the religion of Islam. Islam holds certain religious sites to be sacred and holy. They believe that they are an essential part of their religion and are enshrined in the Koran as essential
to their religion. Especially the Ka'aba in the Great Mosque in Mecca.


Mecca is the most holy place in Islam. Medina is the second holiest place. Arabia is generally the holiest country on earth to the Muslim in general and the Fundamentalists in particular.


On a personal level, a devout Muslim believes that Uncleansed contact with pigs sends him to the deepest hell. We need to let it be known that if we catch and convict any Muslim terrorist, we will sew him into pig
skin, execute him before a firing squad and bury him in it.


So here we have some things that are of utmost and Critical importance to our new enemy.


So here is my suggestion. Why don't we let it be known that if any Muslim, be he a member of al Qaeda or any other terrorist group, launches another attack on any of our cities, we will obliterate Medina. If he attacks again, we will obliterate Mecca and the Ka'aba. If he
attacks again, we will make Arabia uninhabitable for 10,000 years.


We face a fanatical and brutal enemy who is religiously motivated. This is the only kind of language he will understand. So we must face him with the few things that will truly strike terror in his heart.

Otherwise, we are fighting a war that will only increase in the death and destruction of our people. It is gaining fanatical followers every day.


Brutal? Yes! But effective - you bet! The choice is clear. Do we have the will to survive or not?

Osama could easily have thrown a devastating psywar blow against the coalition by appearing in a video with that day's newspaper prominently displayed. The fact that he hasn't tells me that he is most definitely the "late" Osama.

Next OBL tape wasn't supposed to come out until attack on us.

Since the couriers take weeks to deliver these tapes to Qatar, the attack on us was suppossed to happen.

Come on. On CSI, Grissom could put one of those photo-enhancing tools onto the video of the white sheet in the background and see the thread count of the cotton. By the weave, he could tell in which country it was grown. They insert that info into a super computer and out would spit the name and hut of the textile vendor in northern Pakistan who sold it to Binnie's guys. It's easy. I've seen it on TV.

The general content reported in your post seems to be a whole lot of griping against states that are cooperating with us, or beginning to cooperate. I don't see anything here that refers to Khadafy, so perhaps it is from before 19 December. Also I note the 14 November date for Saddam's capture. That must be an AJ mistake.

I don't believe they bluff or would bluff about nukes.

Just doesn't fit their mentality, IMHO.

They may speak in hyperbole.

But they love to act even more in hyperbole. And a nuke would be their paragon desired hyperbole. There's just too much evidence hinting at, pointing to their having some sort of nuke capability, IMHO.

This was intended as gloating to take place after an attack that we thwarted through all of these airline delays.

Wouldn't a gloat tape include words like "infidels brought down out of the sky" and stuff? Why would he only speak about Iraq? Maybe these tapes are hard to make so they work on them for a month -- this one was started right after they pulled Saddam out of his little nest.

Whoever the author is, he couldn't be more wrong. If there is one constant among Muslim-dominated governments, it is stunning lack of achievement, resulting in rampant poverty, abysmal quality of live, and destructive internal/external conflicts.
