It's really a shame the game is being tarnished by the Roberson thing This game is not tarnished. Kansas State's reputation may be, because of bad judgment on the part of their AD and coach. At the very least, Robison broke the rules by breaking curfew, but wasn't punished at all. Win or lose by the final score of this game, Ohio State comes out winners. We run an extremely clean program, and put integrity before winning. Woody would be proud.

Whoa Nellie! Last I heard, there were not going to be charges unless forensics picked up some incriminating evidence (held very unlikely). This is due to the fact that there ws conflicting stories forwarded by the ACCUSER.

I just drove down there at halftime, easy to find a parking space. Mill was dead as hell, last year there were thousands without tickets, but not tonite, I left after a walkaround because I wanted to miss the traffic.

I had to put up with the Kansas State idiots last year at the Holiday bowl. Its obvious that the program cares more about winning at ANY cost than having the slightest whiff of ethics.
I do not like the Buckeyes, but I hope they demolish Kansas.
28-35 : Kansas losing.
Good.

Kansas didn't win. Coach looked a bit smug, until the loss was clear. I'm generally indifferent with regard to college ball, but glad Ohio won this game.
Well, Dad was always an Ohio fan!

Feel like I am in enemy territory reading this thread.
I was somewhat disappointed he started myself. He broke curfew if the timing of the sexual act is what she says it is....though since the evidence for rape is looking more and more slim, with the police now saying there is nothing to charge him on, I wonder if she did not lie about the time either.

What is your prob with the fans.....just as crazy as those with other teams.
You honestly seem to have a psychological disorder here...

I agree with you. The announcers were horrible and incredibly biased against OSU. Here is a player who is accused of rape and one of the announcers say he's so glad Ell is playing.
For the first three quarters Ell looked inept. OSU had prepared for him. But if Kansas had played a difference quarterback KSU might have done better. What a bad message that KSU coach sent by playing Ell.
As to charges being filed, the authorities have to wait for the DNA tests.

Feel like I am in enemy territory reading this thread.I wish you didn't feel that way. I'm not here to bash KS, in fact, you have a team to be proud of.
I do question your coach's decision not to punish Roberson if he did in fact break curfew. He stated in an article that I read, that HIS teams business is THEIR business. He might have to take a different approach if he ever has to deal with the NCAA rules committee.
The way Ohio State handled the Clarett situation was very above board. Although our AD and coach made the final decisions, they cared enough about the fans to keep them in the loop. For that, I give them alot of respect.

A coach can make a big difference. Tressel is a great person and a great coach.
A sign held up by a young woman at the game:
Plane ticket to Tampe: $424
Tickets to Fiesta Bowl: $100
Curfew violation: priceless
Judging form some of the articles, many of the KSU fans are upset with their coach.

Please see this post for an update:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1050435/posts?page=79#79 It is now official: no charges will be filed; there is no evidence the woman did not give consent.
Also, Coach Bill Snyder says he was going to suspend Roberson and some others from the team and send them home before the game...UNTIL he received information from the police that they had no evidence of a criminal act.
Read his letter I have posted on the linked thread. He gets fairly personal about his moral and religious beliefs about sex before marriage and outlines a pretty strict punishment for Roberson, including losing his entire scholarship for the spring semester...just for violating curfew and engaging in sinful sexual activity.
