My sister in Idaho and I, each sent each other gift certificates for Sean Hannity's new autographed book comining out early in '04. We just found out that we gave each other the same gift this AM, LOL!
Merry Christmas Connie!

Liberals are rude. They also are for some reason compelled to state their case to us....I am beginning to think it is the same as dopers who try to get other people hooked. It's like misery loves company or something. Isn't that the truth! It's probably because most of them are on dope.

My relatives don't dare give me liberal books for gifts. They know I live in southern climes and have no use for fireplace fodder.
I did, however, receive Barbara Bush's Reflections from my dad as a Christmas gift.

Check out this thread. Another example of the libs insisting on ascending their soapbox, while we conservatives adopt a diplomatic silence (well, except the original poster came back with the paperweight comment---but really!).

You oughta give them Thomas Sowell's A Conflict of Visions: Ideological Origins of Political Struggles. While the book is political it isn't topical, so it perhaps won't offend their dearly held beliefs while explaining them to themselves.

I knew I had briefly discussed this issue with someone before---it was you, Miss Marple.
This is yet another example of what we have both observed.
(rolling my eyes over our dear liberal relatives).
Merry Christmas, MM.

Yes, it was me you discussed this with.
I now have a mental game I play: when I am at social occasions with known liberals, I try to figure out how long they will wait before attempting an attack. It's usually not very long.
Merry Christmas!!

My husband refused to let me send a G.I.Joe and the talking Ann Coulter doll to our vulnerable, lefty-reared nephew and niece this Christmas.
My sister-in-law would have hit the roof -- LOL!

We got a "Merry Solstice" card from my Green Party trial lawyer brother-in-law. It has a picture of Stonehenge on the front, and is printed by the "Atheists of America."
Tucked inside of this little Holiday marvel is a photograph of the brother-in-law, his wife, and their 5 year-old son - all decked out in front of their Christmas tree, with their stockings hanging in a row.
Sigh...
