[history]
December 24, 2003 -- ALBANY - Organizers of the Republican national convention have sent out an e-mail raising the possibility that President Bush will accept the nomination at Yankee Stadium. Jeff Kent, the U.S. Senate press photographers-gallery director and a convention organizer, cited the option to media members in a follow-up e-mail to last week's convention preview for the media at Madison Square Garden, the site of the event next summer.

With all the INTL A.N.S.R. commies out there protesting, this would be the all time logistical nightmare.

Yankee Stadium holds more than 55,000 people, compared with 19,500 that can fit inside the Garden. Let's hope Grady Little isn't handling the acceptance speech. He might leave Bush out there too long.

I'd do it from Ellis or the Statue, either would be great historical backdrops.

lol.....yep, and let's hope Torre isn't handling it either -- he might yank him early and put in the GOP's worst reliever.

Great pic. If Clinton threw that ball he'd be puffing from exhaustion.
