Capture of Saddam Shows True Evil of Liberal Media and Politicians

I was suggesting to another freeper earlier that - somebody ought to start a thread to compile all examples today of disgusting, evil liberal spinning on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, etc. It was disgusting from the very beginning of the news of the capture.

An example stated on NewsMax; "Time Magazine columnist Joe Klein suggested that another 9/11 attack could revitalize Democrat hopes of defeating Bush next November. "This election, more than any other I've covered, is out of the hands of the politicians and in the hands of the events that take place in the world," he noted. "All it would take, God forbid, would be one [domestic terrorist attack] - not even on the level of the World Trade Center. You know, say they take out an elementary school or a movie theater or a shopping mall. "That could change everything," Klein predicted.

Klein was almost outrightly asking for something awful to happen, just for the Democrats' benefit. Somebody start a thread where any freeper who witnessed this stuff, writes it down. It was pathetic!! It would make a very illuminating thread!

So now, I decided to start it myself. I was up this morning even before I posted third on the first thread on the capture, "Saddam Hussein Captured." And since then, I have heard and seen numerous lefty reporters and politicians say the most disgusting things in order to diminish the troops' success, the possible success of the Administration, and, at the same time, to try to boost their evil intent.

Here is hoping that every freeper who witnessed an outrageous, nasty comment today, would please include it here. If we collect all their comments in one place, it may serve to clearly illustrate their real damaging desires, and their outright evil . Thanks for any help.

I noticed something else about the media today. I posted the following on another thread:

I've noticed a trend among the media today. I was listening to CBS news on the radio a little while ago and the reporterette said something like, "When the WMD are found..." No more "if they are found."

Reuter's made reference to the fact that "little evidence" regarding WMD has been found so far as opposed to their past statements that "no evidence" has been found.

AP said, "Aides even declined to describe Bush's reaction at the news, despite the long-sought development that could bring significant vindication for the war the president started nine months ago," which is opposite their past position that there was no justification, period.

I also heard Woodruff say that given the circumstances in which he was captured, there doesn't seem to be any way that he could have been coordinating attacks so his capture really isn't that big of a deal.

I heard one of them say that Saddam's capture was meaningless too, because Bin Laden was the dangerous one. Mara Liasson?

The AVERAGE voter watched the news coverage today, and probably had dropped jaws! They might not KNOW what Fifth Column means, but what they saw and heard probably left them with a bad feeling about the media and the Democrats.

Their voices will be heard on voting day.

On CNN, Wolf Blitzer turned to a CNN expert correspondent, "veteran Secretary of Defense" William Cohen (from the Clinton Administration), urging calm and self-retrospection in the face of this good news, since after all, "this may seem like a day of celebration", but "we should remember that a week ago, there was coverage of Iraqis dragging U.S. soldiers through the streets."

CNN quickly returned to its non-biased coverage of Saddam Hussein's capture, featuring commentary on assertions that the Bush Administration needs to make sure its response to this event is toned-down enough so as not to come across as "arrogant". The CNN segment continued to remind viewers that "we are acting on behalf of Iraqis", and that if the Bush Administration takes too much pleasure in the capture of Saddam, it might leave the impression that the administration "has its own interests in mind".

Little wonder at the liberal response. They and Al Queda are cousins under the skin. They could give a flip less about this nation except to destroy it and everyone that stands in the way of their socialist pipe dream.

They are the enemies in the gate, we cannot continue to live with their presence here. They can move to France with like minded individuals, neither they nor anyone else has the Consitutional right, civil right, nor the freedom to turn the USofA into a socialist nightmare.

We should not tolerate them anymore. They should be told to leave, and in no uncertain terms.

Toward the end of Brian Wilson's spot on FNC, he was talking to Chris Wallace and John Warner. Wallace said "I expect that Bush won't repeat the 'Mission Accomplished' mistake from the carrier," and Warner observed "But this mission WAS accomplished -- they captured Saddam Hussein!"
