The question is, which Jefferson?

There is actually no question at all until they prove it was the Jefferson. It's nothing but a speculative race-baiting exercise in political correctness until they prove that Thomas fathered those children.

This whole business is actually trite and uninteresting. What difference would it make? Jefferson is interesting and relevant to American history. Who he was or wasn't boinking isn't.

There's no indication that his sex partner(s) influenced his political life or thinking.

If you'd read the whole article, you'd learn that she does want money. She's written a letter to Strom Jr. asking that things be settled "among family," that way she wouldn't have to make any formal claims against the estate. The woman filed for personal bankruptcy recently, so I guess Strom forgot a few payments.

The reason why many blacks have such different bloods is because of the one drop rule, us vs. them allegiances, segregation,etc. If they did a poll of how many white Southerners had Indian blood, I'm sure it would be as much as how many blacks had white. Personally, this is something I don't really get. My mother came from a country where mixed marriages was never illegal, and it was nothing for her to marry a white American.

I also would like to do that DNA thing where you are supposed to be able to trace ancestry.

My ancestors were Irish and German. But considering that Ireland was invaded by the Norse and the English and the Normans and add to that the survivors of sinking of the Spanish Armada; and that Germany was invaded by all kinds of eastern and northern barbarians...I bet all kinds of "blood" would show up!
