Chris really loved Free Republic, and his next of kin has requested that I let all of you know what you meant to him. He was fiercely Republican, and found a true home here.
His final post was on 11/28. He was posting quite frequently up until then. Sad that we could not help him more : (( http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1030315/posts

He meant a lot to us, too. Seriously--I remember reading his posts; when I saw his name on the "recent posts" I was always interested in what he had to say.
Please tell his next of kin that he will be very missed here.

Please pass all our sincere condolences onto his family.
Prayers for Chris and his family.

This is such a shame. We traded a few emails about his tomato gardening. I found him to be genuine and friendly, a class act.
Prayers for him and his family.

(that we through His poverty might be rich)
How sad, I remeber him also. We lost a young friend of ours recently. It's very sad when someone dies that didn't really get to live a long life. Prayers for him and his family left behind.

(Bush has stolen two things which Democrats believe they own by right: the presidency & the future)
I'm so sorry someone so young has left us. I'm glad to know that he found comfort here!
Please tell his family how very sorry I am about their loss. I had been on his website for gardening, and he was very knowledgeable.

(If all the world's a stage, I want to operate the trap door!)
I remember visiting his tomato site last summer since I was new to the gardening stuff.
This is just too sad. May he rest in peace.....
