Tonight at 9:30 p.m., C-SPAN2 presents a press conference by some military families who went on a tour of Iraq last week that was orchestrated by Medea Benjamin.

I attended the press conference today. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hurl. I did.

My stepson was in Iraq during the thick of the war and my husband and I were so proud we nearly burst.

My stepson and his entire unit were extremely supportive and proud of THEIR service.

I hate these sorry sacks of sh*t. They encourage the attacks on the troops. My son's best friend was killed Sunday in an IED blast. My son would have died in the Hummer, too. But he had to stay at the gas station (which was later attacked) and do crowd control. These crapheads, all the democrat candidates, and the leftist media are helping the enemy kill our troops. We can discuss the war when it's over, in the mean time they can just shut the hell up!!

Here in the Richmond area we have a man who claims to have two sons serving in Iraq. He makes the rounds of all the antiwar/anti-America demonstrations, has given numerous interviews, sports a sign with pictures of his sons, always proclaiming he is a patriotic American and continually denouncing President Bush using the blood for oil theme.

The curious thing is, he posts on a local website that also publishes articles rejoicing in the deaths of American soldiers in Iraq. These articles call our young patriots mercenaries and worse. It is just unbelievable.

These, indeed, are frightening times we live in.

I don't know why more conservative talk show hosts aren't hammering this point home.I know Ollie North and Michael Savage have been saying this,but,Rush and Sean seem to be afraid to sound too "radical", so they say-"we aren't questioning the Democrat's patriotism,just their judgement." No-their patriotism is definitely the issue.And their reckless statements,which only give aide and comfort to the enemy.I am still waiting for a Senator to condemn Hillary Clinton for her treasonous remarks to our troops on the battlefield.

It's tough. John Grant of Veterans for Peace speaking now. He says all the troops tell him they want to go home. He also says troops are isolated and out of touch with every day Iraqis.

Says they heard many complaints from Iraqis that they were abused by our troops--soft peddles complaints.

Now saying an Iraqi credibly claimed to have been tortured by American troops with electric shock. Call for a Congressional investigation of our troops.

John Grant now saying that 'resistance' has become a real term among Iraqis. Need to get troops off the street because they are provactive. Call for garrisoning our troops in bases in the desert, only to be used if Saddam tries to come back.

Medea Benjamin is a very busy lady. She went to Baghdad at least three times that I know of and was up to no good while she was in country. The first time was before the war began when Medea gave aid and comfort to our enemy in the form of a well-publicized blood donation to Saddam's regime. The second was after the war (I wonder just how she managed to travel through the war zone) when she and others went to set up offices where they could talk to American soldiers about becoming pacifists and generally to undermine the morale of our troops. Now, she's just back from another attempt to create a spectacle, call for Congressional hearings and undermine the U.S. efforts in Iraq.
