Whenever people compare Clinton to Bush the first thing that comes to my mind is the scene in "The Outlaw Josey Wales" when Wales (Clint Eastwood) is approached by the snake oil salesman trying to sell him some elixir and Wales spits his chewing tobacco on his jacket and asks "How is it on stains?"

Mansoor Ijaz also reported that Usama also has put on a lot of weight as has Al Zawahiri.

Living in a cave causes you to gain weight?
He was hiding in Karachi(Indian Intel) after tora bora; moved to redoubt in the mountains in northern Pakistan/kashmir (as per Mansur Ijaz in the Guardian) and now has apparently moved to Iran.
Gaining weight implies a luxurious lifestyle that probably came from eating the fine dining provided by the generals and mullahs of Pakistan.
Not bad for a dead guy.

Funny, I thought I saw him driving a taxi in Houston some months ago. Of course every other person we saw in Houston resembled Osama......
Go Bush.....

In August 2001 we went to Chicago. From our hotel to the Adler Planetarium it was a couple of miles. So we took a taxi. The taxi drivers name as I read it off the dashboard was ******* Bin Laden. He treated us like cr*p. Snarled at us the whole time. Dropped us off at the museum of natural history instead of where we wanted to go. I commented to my wife on his name and wondered if he had been questioned about his name. She looked at me blankly and said "Who's Bin Laden?".

No. She's much more in tune with the news nowdays. She watches Fox News on her own now. With a 6, 1 1/2 old boys and a maybe a girl on the way she realizes that the world for them is determined by what we do now.

I agree, but there is one thing I am getting VERY tired of hearing: "Now there's a president who may not be as good with the words as Clinton was ... but he acts." Bush is a fine speaker, though some people think his Texas drawl and a penchant for simple statements somehow belies this. Clinton was certainly good at PARSING his words, but his major speeches read like high school term papers from a social studies class.
Dubya says what he means and acts on his words.
Thank you. My sentiments exactly. Clinton felt no need to answer a question, he would give indications that he would address the question, but in the end, there was no substantive answer. Dodge, dissemble, gobbledygook. The worst part is that his penchant for doublespeak gave every pol the same right, the nineties were frustrating years of non-communication, with W, straight talk has returned, and it is SO refreshing.

One thing that I've been wondering about regarding OBL. Do we know for a fact that he was in Tora Bora, and that wasn't something to throw us off? What did we have- some chatter that the "Sheik was hit"? He's suppose to have a lot of intelligience, so it would have surprised me that he got himself cornered two months after the campaign started. Couldn't he have had a diversion tactic while sneaking out to Iran or Kashmir or whereever?
To: cons_Mark
He left Tora Bora for Karachi before the US campaign started IMO. According to SAAG.ORG and B.Raman, he stayed at the compound of the Binori Mosque in Karachi, through the winter of 2001/2002. This is an estate comprising over 10,000 religious students and a well known jihadi mosque.
I've often thought that Pearl picked something up about this, in addition to some of Pak's nuclear shenanigans with NKorea that caused his murder.
Then the move to the north as per Ijaz. Then when Mush said, Osama/Oussama/Usama ( oh, that Osama!) is not in Pakistan, he could be telling the truth since Osama was in Pak Kashmir, technically not sovereign Pakistan.

How DARE you question the credibility of Ijaz.
Don't you know he is a golden boy here on FR.

LOL!
Airports like LAX and other major airports have huge fleets of taxis, and 99% are driven by Mid Easterners, many that look just like Osama. These armies of taxis are driving around the terminal areas where literally thousands of people are standing.....I'm surprised no cabs have gone kaboom yet.....I do not say this with sarcasm. I am very serious.....

Maybe they don't want
to spoil a good thing -- Right now,
they can hide any
Arab in a cab,
and it's a mobile safe house.
If a cab blows up,
they lose the option
of hiding in plain sight, and
have to get tricky...
To: swarthyguy
I believe Ijaz. He has excellent intel links.

""Nucular" instead of nuclear."
LOL! Me, too. But other than that, his speech in Britain was wonderful, IMO.

Wow. Despite the fact that Bin Latrine despises
Sod@mn Insane and the Shias, they are still willing to unite in their evil mission.

Dubya can't spin and lie Clintonian style. To the sheeple and the Commies, that's a lack of oratory skills.
