HI...Newbie here...I've seen 'ZOT' before. What does it mean?

Getting ZOTted is what happens when a moderator exterminates a deliberately disruptive (i.e., leftist) poster with extreme prejudice. Some of the time you see it mentioned in anticipation of a forthcoming ZOT by FReepers who happen to make it onto the thread before the mods. I think it comes from the sound attributed to lightning strikes in the B.C. comic strip.
