Anybody listening to Howard Stern now? If you live on the Left Coast, PLEASE tape the show starting a little after 10 AM to get an accurate transcript to post here. Anyway, Howard is NOW blasting Moonves BIGTIME. He is goofing on Moonves and his girlfriend, Julie Chen by imitating Moonves saying, "Julie, come over here and service me NOW!" Howard is also playing clips of Moonves as he is goofing on him. One of the things Moonves says on the clip is how proud he is of the Hallmark production of their TV movies (thus giving lie to Hallmark's claim that they have nothing to do with "The Reagans.")
Howard is saying that Moonves is angling for Sumner Redstone's job and that Moonves doesn't even try to pretend to be friendly to him anymore.
Just said that sometimes Moonves bangs his girlfriend and calls her "Connie" and that she likes it. Also making fun of Moonves' rattling teeth. Now imitating Moonves: "You can host a show---Just bang me!"
Howard now saying he is sure he will be getting a call from somebody to lay off Les but he's NOT doing it.

This was hilarious! It's great to hear Howard humiliating Les Moonves on national radio. If you live on the Left Coast, PLEASE tape this segment and post the transcript here. Howard began goofing on Moonves shortly after the fourth hour of his show (after 10 AM EST).

Were you listening to Howard today? It sounds like he will CONTINUE to blast Moonves bigtime. Howard doesn't care. I think he is getting tired of doing radio and if he is fired they still have to pay him on the remainder of his contract.

I really need to read the transcript of this. Les Moonves (and Julie Chen) must be cringing under his desk right about now. He (and she) knows that everybody over at CBS will be laughing at him behind his back. The part about his teeth clattering whenever he talks was also HILARIOUS. Hopefully an audio of this will be available online.

Julie Chen will have a hard time tomorrow showing up at the Early Show knowing that everybody there is probably laughing over Howard's comments that the only reason she has the anchorperson job is because she is "servicing" Moonves.

"Moonves says on the clip is how proud he is of the Hallmark production of their TV movies" Boycotting Hallmark products during the holidays in response to their support of the Reagan-bashing mini-series would send a hugh message that the RightWing is series about fighting LeftWingMedia spinmeistering!!

The audio must have been great. Stern is a maestro at this. I'd like to see him do a bit on JF Kerry next time he mentions his 'Vietnam Experience'.

Oh yeah.
Of course, Howard's not exactly liked by the "culture warriors" - see if Brent Bozell or Michelle Malkin will give him any credit.
More likely, they file a complaint to the FCC.

....PRUDE PATROL HERE!....NO, I am not going to slam Howard, he is beyond reproach.
What bothers me are his followers, including some FReepers, who think the gruesome, morbid, contorted and twisted humiliation he instills on his underated guests is clever and artful.
This clearly shows the shameless moral decline this country has taken as it's form of amusement and gratification.
....may GOD forgive you!

It's almost 10 minutes of Howard slamming Moonves. And it is HILARIOUS!!! It wouldn't surprise me if this show causes Moonves to have a nervous breakdown. Moonves (and Julie Chen) know that everyone is laughing at them behind their backs because of Howard's comments today.

Last night, just to be self-masochistic, I watched a good chunk of the 3-hour live orgy of self-congratulation that was the CBS 75th Anniversary celebration. Two things really stood out for me:
1) A scarily high percentage of CBS's biggest stars over the decades - and I'm talking entertainment here, not news - have been people that ended up becoming major liberal activists (or, at least, a scarily high percentage of the people CBS wanted to showcase last night): Mike Farrell, Alan Alda, Rob Reiner, Ed Asner, Candace Bergen ... so many I lost count. But for this thread, that's not as important as #2:
2) At the end of the CBS News fellatio segment, they brought out all the top tier of CBS News personnel onto the stage, over a dozen people. These were all the members of the Old Guard that aren't already dead, the top tier of what was once, a very long time ago, one of the premier journalism outlets in America: everyone from 60 Minutes and 60 Minutes II, Dan Rather, Walter Cronkite, Lesley Stahl, etc ... and all the way over on the end, sticking out like a sore thumb, was Julie Chen. She was probably the only person on stage under the age of 55, and it was just so obvious that she didn't belong there.

I'm already playing it for a FIFTH time. I LOVE listening to this audio. I can't wait to hear what happens tommorrow. I'm sure Moonves is already going BONKERS over this broadcast and there will probably be a lot of pressure on Howard to lay off Moonves but he WON'T. Howard doesn't give a damn if they fire him. They still have to pay him on the remainder of his contract.

I had to pass this CBS monstrosity on the way to work last night. There were literally three blocks worth of limos parked on 34th Street, and average people weren't allowed to park there. And the traffic was abysmal. Typical -- limousine liberals gathering together, and preventing the little people like me from getting to work on time!
To: PJ-Comix
I don't think Moonves has the power to fire Howard. If I understand the Viacom org chart correctly, Infinity, which owns Howard's station and his syndication contract, is an entity on an equal level with, but separate from, CBS. All of the CBS
radio stations were shunted over to Infinity when Viacom ate CBS, and "CBS" the company now only controls the TV network.
So Moonie Boy could conceivably make things a little uncomfortable for Howard if he could get Redstone or Karmazin to get involved (one very big "if" considering how important Howard is financially to Infinity), but otherwise, Les can't touch Howard.
