Some trustees considered Goldin too arrogant from his first appearance before the committeeBut they gave him the job anyway. Then they took it back. You have to suspect that that was the plan all along. It is frustrating to see guys like this profit without doing anything, but at least he's not at NASA anymore.

Well you know... times like these make me proud to BU... ugh.
I'm just excited because BU's CRs are going to the pro-Bush rally tomorrow at Fanueil Hall. :D

If Massachusetts' attorney general won't do anything about Cassidy and Goldin's recent robbery at that tax-subsidized university, how about Bush's own attorney general? Would that be a worthwhile rallying point luring support in Massachusetts from the 'rats?

I know, Goldin makes far more money off of U.S. taxpayers nowadays.

My Dad would not recognize his alma mater. He won the BU Distinguished Alumni Award in 1998. Here's a write up about it.

That depends upon whether the censors make these forums a waste of time for us true fiscal conservatives.

Perhaps the Massachusetts attorney general's office also won't recognize the crime committed by aerospace lobbyist Gerald Cassidy for what it is? Might John Ashcroft, though? The crime arguably emanated from D.C. politics. Wire fraud comes to mind, among other things.
As for your father, what's the nature of his "not recognizing" B.U. nowadays? Sometimes when high profile alumni speak out, their alma maters have no choice but to listen. Is this such an instance?

Unfortunately, my Father passed away in 2000.

I'm VERY sorry to hear that. So even before this latest fiasco, they had alienated someone as distinguished as that highly accomplished alumnus. That's most unfortunate, and also revealing.
