Subject of Cape Coral Amber Alert found safe

(Cape Coral-AP) -- An Amber Alert ended well this morning when Cape Coral police found a missing six-year-old girl.

Police feared Catherine Barnes had been abducted. But she was found uninjured about eight hours after the alert was issued.

Police say she was fine when she was found before dawn at a convenience store.
