I am deeply sorry to hear this. I know my condolences are late in coming, but I just came across this memorial.

I have nothing but the greatest respect for Veterans from World War Two and our nation and the world at large owes them all an eternal debt of gratitude.

Thank you! By the way....did you know that my husband lived just 9 hours short of 31 days in October BUT the VA considered he lived no longer than 1 October. His VA benefits ceased on 10/1 - I even had to return his October pension check. I am going to try my best to get this law reversed. What a SICK way to treat any vet and ESPECIALLY a WW II vet because we are losing them at 1000 a day. I do HATE our congressmen/women for what they are doing!!
