And Jackman is a pretty serious actor.

He could end up even being better than Brosnan because he has a good physical presence as Bond (which is important in fight/chase scenes)

Plus is solves the question of how to get the ladies to see a James Bond film..

So obviously gay.

My rule, everybody who is prettier than me and is in entertainment is gay. That leaves y'all Ned Beatty and the current Marlon Brando as eye candy - the rest are gay.....

Hey! What a concept!

"Everyone that is prettier than me is lesbian."

hmmm.... I don't think that works for me as well. How come?

"Swordfish" actually was a good movie (Halle's obviously gratuitious breast-flashing scene notwithstanding)...

Connery always projected a more working-class edge under a veneer of polish and civilization. You could almost guess at a background where he joined the military as a ranker and was spotted and groomed to be a stone killer. There's a scene near in Goldfinger near the beginning where you can kind of see that his polish is studied, not inborn.

Moore (the worst) and Brosnan (fair), always seemed to have been born with silver spoons in their mouths and to approach the job more as a hobby. Feh. Jackman might be good.

Did anyone ever see "The Tailor of Panama"? Great Brosnan performance as what James Bond would probably be like in the real world--a complete scumbag.

Aside from kick-ass BMW movies, Clive Owen was the Privateer in Origin's classic video game, also starring another favorite of the Dude, Christopher Walken.

It was a good summer film although the whole Halle thing kind of overshadowed her career for the next few years after that.

He looks kinda like an 80s George Michael though... ;) Of course, George was straight back then.
