Thanks for starting this memorial thread.

Lynne was loved by all who knew her. She had a way about her that lit up every room she entered. Her gentle grace and her caring ways belied the patriotic fervor and passion that were the hallmarks of her fight against America's enemies. She brought that same strength of character to her fight against her final enemy until God called her home to rest. She will be missed.

Sad news. I had heard she had cancer. I've lost 2 family members to cancer in the last year. My best friends pop passed away with it last night. I keep praying for the day we beat it. My prayers to her family.

thanks EV.. remembering that busy / hectic time in first weeks of war. Everyone was new to me, as I was a newbie . Lynne was so sweet & helpful with posting my pix in the photo album. We shared quite a few personal emails but she never mentioned being ill or the fact of the cancer again being present.

we are a mist.. and that mist is present for a time & then goes the way of mist.. integrating into the reaches of human memory and the reality of eternity.

I so sorry to hear of this. God bless Lynn; I have no word to express my sorrow. I have been out all week working on the Schiavo case; I am so sorry I missed it.

I pray for her family... I know she is finally out of pain, but now we are in pain. We love you, LBGA.

She was a terrific lady and a Great Freeper. We'll miss her. Here's a picture of her at the Atlanta Rally to support the troops this last March, only 7 months ago:

Lynne's the third from the Left, The "He's Over There" signs were made by Lynne for my kids to carry to the Rally. The picture is her son who was serving in the region at the time.
