Arnold Schwarzenegger hasn't been sworn in yet as California's next governor.

But as he threw his arms around President Bush on a stage last week in San Bernardino, the 56-year-old, Austrian-born bodybuilder-turned-movie-star-turned-governor-elect - who has always plotted his goals years ahead of time - must have wondered whether he was embracing his future.

The ammendment should allow Arnold Schwarzenegger in particular to run for President, not the non-native-born in general.

It does worry me that the last country ruled by an Austrian immigrant was NAZI Germany.

There should be no such amendment. For all his economic "conservatism", Ah-nold is still "infested" with European ideas (gun control, gay rights, etc., etc.). As governor of CA, he is OK--but not as president.

This is a joke.... You know how hard it is to pass a contitutional amendment? Nearly impossible.

Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, wants an amendment allowing foreign-born ... to run.

Leave it to Hatch to suggest the needless. Foreign born can already run for the office of president. They just can't serve.
