the United States "has got bogged down in Iraq and advising the US army to leave it."

Teddy or Osama? or Dean? or any of the Dems?

The Chinese did it and I wouldn't be surprised if our friends the Saudis take this tactic too.

Read the article after your Mr. Bush post and saw he singled out our president. Sure wish he wasn't traveling right now.

Dog - is MSNBC referring to intelligence experts when they say they think it's a legit tape?

I wonder if the Rats will be so stupid as to repeat Clinton's remarks last week that "he tried to warn Bush about OLB"?

When a tape from this guy is released something goes BOOM in the world.

The word is that the tape was made ~2 months ago, long before we busted up the Guantanamo spy ring. Assuming that they worked for al-Qaeda (a definite possibility, per various sources), maybe this was intended to serve as their call to action?

As to attacking the US, keep in mind that Adnan al-Shukrijumah remains at large:

CAIRO, Egypt - A voice purported to be Osama bin Laden's warned Iraqis in an audiotape aired on Al-Jazeera television Saturday not to cooperate with U.S. occupiers and urged youth in neighboring nations to wage holy war in Iraq.

"We call on all Muslims and Iraqis ... beware of working with the American forces. ... Whoever works with them is an infidel," said the speaker in the tape.

"You young people of Islam everywhere, especially from neighboring states, and Yemen, you have to go wage jihad (holy war) and show your muscles. Follow the right path and don't follow people who follow their whims ... who want to divert you from such a mission," the speaker said.

It was the first tape purported to be from the al-Qaida leader since Sept. 10, when Al-Jazeera screened a videotape that contained a pair of voiceovers, one purportedly from bin Laden and the other from his deputy Ayman al-Zawahri.

The CIA said two days later that analysts believed bin Laden's voice on the tape was probably authentic.

In Saturday's tape, the voice also warned of possible attacks on nations helping the U.S. occupation in Iraq. Washington has been pressing other nations to send troops to help U.S.-led forces stabilize Iraq. So far, Turkey and South Korea have said they would send troops.

"America is embroiled in the swamps of Tigris and the Euphrates (rivers). America is in real trouble ... it is now screaming for help, from the lowest of people," he said.

President Bush "thought that Iraq and its oil is a big treasure," the voice said. "Now it is in trouble and resorted to buying mercenary fighters from everywhere."

"We reserve the right to respond to the unjust countries that are taking part in this war," he said.

Al-Jazeera broadcast two audiotapes Saturday. The second was a message to the Americans.

"I tell the American people we will continue fighting you and we will continue martyrdom operations inside and outside the United States until you stop your injustice, and you end your foolishness," he said.

"Jihad must continue until an Islamic government is established," he said.

The audiotape was broadcast over a still photo of bin Laden, dressed in Afghan clothing.

"I call upon all Muslims, especially Iraqis. I tell them: Do not dare support the crusading American armies and those that ally with them. ... Anyone that aids them, or whatever comes of them, no matter the label, is sacrilegious."

He's dead. He is inert. He has passed on. He has crossed the River Jordan. He is no more. He is expired. He is fallen. He is mort. He is finished. He is defunct. He has become dust. He is six feet under. He is pushing up daisies. He has assumed room temperature. He has become history. He is kaput. He has perished. He has given up the ghost. He is lifeless. He is the late Osama bin Laden. He is a deceased terrorist.

Audio tapes are the easiest to fake. That's why dead Wahhabis send us cheap little cassettes instead of having press conferences.

Bin Laden Tells U.S. to Quit Iraq

Well, it sure took Osama bin Ladin long enough to get on the same page as the Democrats and the Liberal news media.

Remembering his lust for recognition and his need for display, one would think he would use an easily made video of himself instead of an audio tape.

I think he has gone audio-only for two reasons.

One is to deprive us of any potential intelligence about his location.

Remember the early videotape which showed Bin Laden in front of a rock formation? Geologists were able to identify the small region of Afghanistan in which those particular types are rocks are found. They learned from that mistake.

Secondly, I believe that Bin Laden has had plastic surgery to radically change his appearance. Of course he won't show his face now.

2 months?

That places this in the August time frame...about the time of the UN building bombing.

Angelus the guy on MSNBC said he even mentions South Korea......had they announced they were sending troops to Iraq back in August?
