Rogers running against Kennedy again!

Rogers raises over $250,000 in last 3 months. His bid to unseat Patrick Kennedy is supported by over 10,000 contributors.

Providence, RI: Congressional candidate Dave Rogers announced today that his campaign for the United States House of Representatives has raised $256,233 in the last 3 months of fundraising activity. This brings his election cycle total to over $475,000 and his cash on hand to $87,827.30 His bid to unseat Patrick Kennedy is supported by over 10,000 contributors.

“I am extremely proud that my campaign has raised over $475,000 for this election. I believe that this shows that I have the level of support and backing to defeat Patrick Kennedy next November.” Rogers said “The outpouring of support I have received is both humbling and heartwarming.”

“As a former U.S. Navy SEAL, I know the value of hard work and commitment and I am committed to work hard and win this race.” Rogers continued “Rhode Islanders deserve accountable representation in the 1st district and I intend on providing it.”

Rogers, 37, a combat veteran and former U.S. Navy SEAL, lives in Portsmouth with his wife Nancy and their two children Patrick, 8 and Scott, 6.

Dave Rogers is a great guy and a solid Republican. The National Defense PAC indorsed him last time and will likely indorse him again. Last time he was just getting his feet wet in the process. Now I think he is ready to roll over Kennedy. I think the latest Kennedy gaff is going to be the straw that broke the camel's back.
