Freedom Caucus members Good, Dan Bishop and Andy Ogles are apparently happy about the Johnson nomination - for what it’s worth. I haven’t seen a comment from any of the die-hard RINOs yet, so it’s still too early to tell how this will play out tomorrow.

Provides asylum seekers the ability to apply for benefits from safe third countries: The bill grants the Department of Homeland Security the power to remove asylum seekers to safe third countries where they would have access to a full and fair procedure to apply for asylum without the current necessity for bilateral agreements with those countries. This would allow the return of apprehended Central Americans to Mexico, for example, where they could apply for asylum.

Terminates asylum for those who return home: The bill requires termination of asylum status when an immigrant returns to their home country from which they sought asylum, absent a change in country conditions.

Don Bacon voted against Jordan, but says he will support Mike Johnson

Hahaha : Kinzinger on CNN says Johnson is doomed. And GOP will make a deal with the RATs. Note: Johnson wrote the Amicus Brief regarding 2020 election “anomalies “

I’m still hoping he will get back in

I think as long as this is not taken down, there's still a good chance for Jordan.

Hmmm. I’m not sure if that’s good news or bad news. The sudden support for Johnson by both sides has me feeling uneasy. But regardless, he should be an improvement over McCarthy.

And his votes on Ukraine? That is the dealbreaker mention of which is being avoided.

He is probably compromised in some way shape or form. Hence, why there is push for him. The Dems/Globalists want someone they can control.

They can’t control Jim Jordan.

74% Liberty Score, a C. Not great, but 20 points higher than McCarthy, so it moves the Overton Window a bit in our direction.

I’d rather Jordan or Donalds or Roy or Massie, but Johnson may be the most conservative person we can get who can get to 217.

Not thrilled, but it’s a step forward.

Absolutely.

Thank you, Matt Gaetz.

Everyone who called him a traitor can go to hell.

So did Emmer. I can not get over Gaetz voting for Emmer. What a slime.

Trump and Gaetz give their OK and that’s good enough for me. Thank God for Trump stepping in and killing the Emmer Deep State snake. I hope that Emmer is the last of the anti-MAGA weasels.

I’m listening to Jeff Kuhner this morning and he’s saying that much of the resistance to Jordan was personal. Scalise was supposedly upset that Jordan didn’t fight hard enough to support his nomination so he lobbied behind the scenes to defeat Jordan. Plus I guess Jordan’s ruffled some RINO feathers in the past. Johnson is a little more low key, and is generally well liked by both sides

To: Veto!

Now that the RINOs have self-identified, we must vote them out of office as soon as possible.

>I think they’re just enjoying a bit of vacation on the taxpayers dime.<

They’ve actually saved us lots of dimes by not allowing Biden’s Ukraine grift package to come to the floor.

Any guesses what the first order of business will be?

What’s his position on “weapons for Ukraine” ??
if MSM continues hiding this then it’s a red flag.
Don Bacon supporting him makes this scary.
Hern(82%) is a better choice.
I’m hoping Jordan will get back in.
