William Jacobson, the Cornell University law professor who came under fire for criticizing Black Lives Matter (BLM) in two articles earlier this month, is now facing calls to boycott his courses.
The articles On June 3, longtime law professor William Jacobson posted an article on his blog Legal Insurrection headlined, “The Bloodletting and Wilding Is Part of An Agenda To Tear Down The Country.”
On June 4, Jacobson posted another story titled, “Reminder: ‘Hands up, don’t shoot’ is a fabricated narrative from the Michael Brown case,” LaCorte News reported last week.
Eduardo Peñalver, the dean of the law school, has criticized Jacobson’s writings as “offensive and poorly reasoned” but defended them nonetheless “as protected within academic freedom” and said Jacobson will face no disciplinary action, the longtime professor wrote in a June 11 article.
If I were him, I’d be happy to only have conservative students in my course. If that meant I dropped to part time, fine. (He’s not hurting for money, so why not.)
This rush to 1984 is ugly.

#defunduniversities. I think we should have an affirmative action program for Conservatives for universities that receive public money.
When you try to deny one of them a job, you’ll be sued, fired and arrested.
But stop them we must. I’ve lived free too long to abandon Free Speech.
The problem is that those students would have to identify themselves as conservative.
Academia and the left believe in diversity. Cosmetic diversity. Diversity of skin color, hair, eye color, body modification. But real diversity? Diversity of thought, opinion, policy, belief, ideology, politics? Excluded.
Why does every idiot with an IQ smaller than his shoe size have to go to college?
I didn’t know there were any Conservative Professors. Especially in the Ivy League schools.
It's important to keep up the pretense of the concept that black lives matter in order for the money to keep flowing into Black Lives Matters, the fundraising operation.
That money is then directed to ActBlue which funnels money to The DNC and/or demonicRAT candidates.
They'd better stick together and arm up, eh?

Since this fracas started over three weeks ago, I have yet to hear any reporter in the media ask this question of BLM surrogates or protestors marching on the street.
