James Carville on Wednesday thanked "neocons" and praised the anti-Trump Lincoln Group for their attack ad "Mourning in America" that takes aim at the Trump administration's response to the coronavirus pandemic. Carville told MSNBC host Brian Williams that Democrats could learn from Never Trumper Republicans.
The Democratic operative also praised "The Bulwark," a website founded by Weekly Standard founder Bill Kristol for being mean and fighting hard. Kristol, one of the most vocal proponents of the Iraq War and War in Afghanistan, is one of the most visible faces in the Never Trump coalition.
The Lincoln Project was founded by George Conway, Steve Schmidt, John Weaver, Rick Wilson and its founding goal is to prevent a Trump second term. ...
"Let me tell you, the Lincoln group and the Bulwark, these Never Trumper Republicans, the Democrats could learn a lot from them. They're mean. They fight hard. And we don't fight like that. They don't fight like that," Carville said on MSNBC.
"The way that you run a presidential campaign is you're a pirate ship. You're always calculating. You're always taking wind speed and direction. You seize and you loot and you burn. And that's just the way it is," he said about taking on Trump Republicans.

Kristol formally became a Democrat (according to his tax filing, search Kristol and democrat). Yet he likes to pretend his position is “reviving principled conservatism in the United States.” by denouncing every conservative principle and siding with the Left.

Here’s what ties those clowns together:
1) there’s not a principled position that is fundamental to conservatism that is fundamental to them
2) they all make their consulting money (or their cruise-shipped based livelihoods) off of easily-influenced individuals (see for example the John McCains of the world) who use Republicanism - not conservatism - to advance their personal ambitions.
