Strangely, this is false. Trump has NOT flipped the 9th circuit yet. Republican appointees are still a 13-16 minority. Adding semi-retired “senior” judges makes it no better, plus some of your “conservative” judges are Nixon & GHWB appointees who had to be approved by the likes of Feinstein, Boxer, and Cranston.

As others have said here, I do not count D to R, as I consider the father of the Coward Brothers Bush to be one of ourt enemies, and his appointees compromised at best.
I think Trump as it at 16-13 now, 3 from the break even point.

Let’s not make this anything more than me stating my opinion that the article failed to prove that Trump flipped anything, and that I don’t consider GHWB’s appointees to be trustworthy.

Barr, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit overturned a nationwide injunction issued in 2018, thus upholding preferential treatment in awarding community policing grants to cities that cooperate with immigration authorities. In the opinion, Judge Ikuta wrote, “Cooperation relating to enforcement of federal immigration law is in pursuit of the general welfare, and meets the low bar of being germane to the federal interest in providing the funding to “address crime and disorder problems, and otherwise... enhance public safety... one of the main purposes for which” the grant is intended.

Judge Smith wrote the majority opinion in a lawsuit involving the withholding of retroactive reimbursement payments to providers of Medi-Cal. Medi-Cal is California’s Medicaid program.[4] Judge Smith, along with judges Stephen Reinhardt and William Fletcher, ruled unanimously to uphold an injunction against cuts in the reimbursement payments to providers. The panel ruled that California’s budget crisis did not justify the 10% reduction in payments to providers.[4]

I do believe the 3 Bush judges have been adjudicating as Constitutionalists.
I did some research on their decisions. They do not appear to have slid left as is so often the case.
I am glad the Judicial system is being nudged back into place. Even if some of those we have high hopes for will disappoint in future we stand at a much better place and can continue to drive the ball down the course.
Another reason to motivate everyone we know to vote in November. The Left must be denied the power to change the court system & destroy the legitimacy of our Government.
