As Trump pulls out of Syria, his voters are following along. That’s ominous.

President Trump’s pullout — which has created an unfolding disaster there>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

PDJT emoved US forces from a quagmire of internecine local ethnic warfare, after defeating ISIS.

In the continuing battle against ISIS, PDJT is now denying the remnants of ISIS the ability to finance a resurgeance.

This is a continuation of the final stages of the war against ISIS which is NOT a quagmire. Also the strategy is to draw out the remnants of ISIS , forcing them to attack US forces guarding oil facilities, who will not have to go on the hunt for them. Very smart strategic move.

The Russians? They have placed themselves into a bed of quicksand, while President Trump has moved on after a resounding victory against ISIS.

The Russians, rather than contributing to internecine war, disorder and lawlessness in Syria, will now be forced to keep the peace.A rather brilliant move by President Trump.

The US is NOT responsible for anything that happens in Syria.

might as well stop reading at the ‘poll in 2018’ part. Much has transpired since 2018 and the fall of 2019, making the poll irrelevant - not even a conversation starter. You'd think that the ISIS scum were being held 2 miles from the Turkey border - which they aren't and never were.

Everybody wants to turn Syria into something bad. Well, to hell with all of them. The blood of our sons and daughters kept tens of thousands of Kurds and nationals from being annihilated, saved more children and women than that, wiped a scourge, born of 3rd century emotional maturity, off the map, exposed and brought world condemnation over chemical weapons use, and opened the door to an entire geographic region to participate in the modern world - if they can handle it. Unless and until something needs again to be blown up or broken in a profound way, we're done, and proudly so. IF we're going to ask our volunteer military to give their lives, it better be for more than changing the world's diapers. Trump made a solid decision. And the Basket of Deplorables are solidly behind him.

I don’t give a rats whisker for Syria or the Kurds or any of these 7th. century barbarians and their blood feuds. I’m tired of seeing our young men and women dying and being physically and psychologically scared and broken fighting in Mid East crapholes. Enough.

EXACTLY! That’s what this amounts to. We no longer need the Middle East. We have our oil thankyouverymuch. If the Yurps’ oil supply is threatened.....gosh, then maybe they should do something about it.

Its none of our concern.

Number of Troops sent to Iraq in 2003
“The U.S. -led coalition sent 177,194 troops into Iraq during the initial invasion phase, which lasted from 19 March to 1 May 2003. About 130,000 arrived from the U.S. alone, with about 45,000 British soldiers, 2,000 Australian soldiers, and 194 Polish soldiers.”

Number of US troops in Syria 2019 - number pulled from border area -
“The Pentagon previously had pulled away about 30 troops from the Turkish attack zone along the border. With an escalation of violence, a widening of the Turkish incursion and the prospect of more confusing conflict, all U.S. forces along the border will now follow that move.

“We have American forces likely caught between two opposing advancing armies and it’s a very untenable situation,” Esper said.

The Pentagon chief, who spoke in two TV interviews, did not say the approximately 1,000 U.S. troops in Syria are leaving the country entirely.”

I don’t think the Kurds are being protected much by 30 troops.

So fighting terrorists in Syria = good. Fighting Iranian terrorists in Iraq = Trump is a warmonger? Shouldn’t be surprised. Neocons and liberals also think China is our best friend and Russia our worst enemy. Always on the completely wrong side of conflicts.
