President Barack Obama’s chief campaign strategist and senior adviser David Axelrod said that even if President Trump is impeached, it is not likely he will be convicted by the Senate and removed from office.
Appearing on CNN Tuesday evening after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry, Axelrod, 64, tossed water on some lawmakers’ hopes that impeachment would successfully remove Trump from the White House.

They are going through with it so they can claim that Republican Americans are so corrupt that they will vote for an impeached President.
Well Nancy completed her Botox injections and had her hair dyed and was fearful of being ousted by her members as Speaker, so it seemed like the time was right even if the pretext for impeachment was weak. Pelosi did not even call for a roll call vote, so it really isn’t official like there really isn’t a bona fide “whistle blower.”
Someone ought to have explained to her that wearing a blue dress created bad optics for the Democrats.
They think it will damage Trump and beat him up a bit.
Then they are going to run some Romney-type Republican RINO globalist sellouts against Trump in the Republican to do a fake primary challenge.
Then they have the MSM 24/7 bashing Trump.
They have very weak candidates. Biden is a drunk who puts his foot in his mouth and gropes women after his 3-Martini lunches. Warren is a shrill fake Indian. The rest of their candidates are worse.
So their only chance is to pull a stunt like this and hope they can create enough smoke and confusion to convince the middle-of-the-road voters the only way to shut them up is to vote for the stooge Dem nominee.
Also expect Hillary to pop up as the ‘party savior’ possibly with Michelle Obama as her VP pick at the convention. The rest of the field is so weak they have to come up with someone else. Trump will wipe the floor with Biden or Warren in the debates.

The only problem with that plan is the Brown SHirt Media’s numbers are worse than Trump’s. They talk about how vulnerable he is at 40+% but the %age of people who trust them is single digits. All their efforts to damage Trump are falling on Rat ears who don’t care if it’s all lies and our ears that their lies enrage. They really screwed up letting Trump run against THE MEDIA.

If you are not playing offense you are playing defense.
So they attack, attack, attack.

While there are reports that 207 of the 218 votes needed are already in support of impeachment, that’s still a ways from voting yes on the actual Articles of Impeachment when they hit the floor.
We have 207 supporting an impeachment inquiry.
I suspect they are well under 200 who would actually vote to impeach. And that number is more likely to shrink than grow.
And while it is not necessary for a POTUS to violate US Code to be impeached, most will not pull the trigger if there is no actual crime.
I predict a failed vote on the floor of the House when/if Articles are ever presented.
