I think if you added up the entire LGBTQ community in Iowa....it’s no more than 2,500 in the entire state. The majority are in Des Moines. Maybe 200 in Davenport and Cedar Rapids. I just don’t see Mayor Pete getting that many people in the state all thrilled.

I have lived in Iowa for 56 years and am aware of a guy who became a woman and wrote a book about it; Christina Hollis. Part of his transformation process was for him to come back in our office for a few hours as Christina. It was strange to say the leasy. The women forced him to use the restroom in the lobby. I felt sorry for Bill. We raise a lot of hogs in IA so I shorten LGBT to BLT; great sandwich.
