In a major victory for both President Trump and national Republicans, North Carolina GOP state Sen. Dan Bishop was projected to win a fiercely contested special U.S. House election for the 9th District that was widely seen as a bellwether for the president's chances in the 2020 election.
And another Republican House candidate, Greg Murphy, decisively won a separate special election in North Carolina's more solidly GOP-leaning 3rd District earlier Tuesday evening -- frustrating Democrats who spent millions trying to make a splash in the state.
Even Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chairwoman Cheri Bustos acknowledged that the president contributed to Bishop's win, writing in a statement that "we fell an inch short tonight, but it took more than $6 million in outside Republican spending and a last-minute Trump rally" to seal Democratic candidate Dan McCready's fate in the 9th District.
The clean sweep heartened the president, who has long emphasized the national implications at stake. Trump unloaded on McCready in the fiery rally on Monday night, telling attendees that "to stop the far-left, you must vote in tomorrow's special election."

The Democrats always find these guys to run who are ex-military, pro-gun, anti-abortion, anti-taxes etc in Red districts. I am sure the guy said he was anti-Pelosi as well.

Everything about this election gives me a great deal of satisfaction. But this is what satisfies me the most. Wicked, hateful money poured in from the left; and it's wasted.
Let that be a lesson to the bedwetters. Your foul money vs Trump's rallies equals "you lose your money". There's an end to that you know. Trump won't run out of rallies; but you'll probably run out of money.

McCready is a trained Deep State Democrat. He worked for McKinsey & Co. The same firm that reorganized the management of the CIA for Brennan in 2015.
The same firm Chelsea Clinton worked for.

Absolute he did. The GOP candidate in the ninth won by more than two percentage points when it was virtually tied last election.
This is what we must do from here on out in every election. It is hard work, folks but our freedom depends on it.

The ‘rats know this - that is why they are trying everything in the lower courts/Obama judges to stop the wall and keep the border open. They are trying to disappoint President Trump’s base and get them to turn on him. (won’t work)
Also, that is why it is important that Barr gets off the dime and cleans up the DOJ. Justice against the coup plotters is important to keep the base fired up and Wray needs to be fired as well.
