Democrats Are Playing Checkers While Trump Is Playing Chess

People (and the NYT) use the checkers versus chess analogy far too often without understanding that Checkers is in operationally tactical game whereas chess is deemed a strategic game. There are many times when a checkers approach to a problem would be more suitable then a chess approach, and vice versa they are too totally different games but each have a goal of defeating the opponent.

I’m guessing that the NYT is of the mindset that people who play checkers are Rubes who fell off the turnip truck going down the bumpy dirt road. But that is merely typical of the elitist thought. Granted Checkers my seemingly be an easier game than chess but that is not correct nor tactically the case.

Many liberal elites, who see right-leaning voters as blindly following the edicts of an unbending dogma on many issues, have little to no awareness of their own blind allegiance to an unbending dogma on many issues. This blind spot, which has only grown in recent years, makes the left exceptionally easy to troll. In other words, the left’s lack of awareness of the excesses of their own evolving dogma makes it increasingly easy for Breitbart, Fox News, and similar-minded others to portray liberals as hypocritical and out of touch with the day-to-day lives of many Americans.

It’s clear that the Democrats have lost many whites because of whites’ attitudes about race.

Again, these @$$holes just don't get it. Many of these people went out and voted for Obummer. Some 2x. But after 8 years in what was supposed to be a post racial America if you voted for Obama, race relations are at its worst since the early 90s (LA riots). And not because of whites, but because of a former racist WH which labelled everyone the same thing they accused others of.
