Donald Trump met with Sen. Ted Cruz on Capitol Hill Thursday -- the first meeting between the two former bitter campaign rivals since Cruz suspended his presidential campaign.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus was also in the meeting, according to sources. This was Trump's second trip to Capitol Hill in two months.
With less than two weeks before the Republican National Convention commences in Cleveland, Trump is looking to shore up support with the GOP's rank-and-file even as he faces backlash from members of his party. Some Republicans who are facing a tough re-election battle have chosen to skip the convention while others declined to meet with Trump this morning....

OK, I’ll get shouted down I’m sure, but I’d love to see this ticket. Cruz brings the DC knowhow that Trump needs, even if he detests (rightfully) the town and its denizens.
Good news. The party needs to come together behind its nominee. The nominee, in turn, needs to do his part and try not say stupid (stuff) for the next four months.
I’m hoping the purpose of this meeting is arranging for Ted Cruz to speak at the GOP convention to give Trump a rousing, whole-hearted endorsement.
I could care less if Cruz does anything else again in his life time...I do know this, if Hillary gets into the White House, there will be no Senate, there will be no Representatives, there will be a dictatorship and that is all there will be and Cruz will not be part of it, she can't stand him anymore than I can stand him....you get my drift...
So wise up people, you want a job, support our nominee, you want to sit in the gutter of what was America, support Clinton because that is what your going to get!!!

Assume they are ALL dirtbags, until one of them does something that clearly shows he/she is NOT a dirtbag.
That should be a fairly accurate approach.
This whole matter shows how far these Washington DIRTBAGS are from the people. The people have chosen Trump but the dirtbags are far more worried about their take in Washington than they are about serving the people that put them there.
Stay in Texas and endorse Hillary, no one cares
Our local delegates are still pledging themselves to Cruz. They expect a rules change so they can override the vote of the people here.

I agree...however, I probably would use “traitors to their electorate, to their oath of office and to the Constitution” instead of (or in addition to) dirtbags.
