Analysis Latinos and women are blunting Trump and Sanders in California's primaries
The Los Angeles Times ^ | April 3, 2016 | Cathleen Decker

Two groups of California voters — women and Latinos — have powered the Democratic Party’s ascent here and delivered a near-death knell to the state’s Republican Party.

A USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll released last week showed that the prominence of those groups also explains why the two hottest candidates this year aren’t running away with the state.

Across the country, in the states contested so far, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump have forwarded a similar message on the topic of the economy: that trade deals have decimated jobs in this country and that those making less money have been ignored as politicians have hewed to policies that benefit the rich and powerful.

The two candidates may disagree on nearly everything else, but their echoing economic messages have boosted them among blue-collar workers, those who haven’t attended college and those lower on the income scale, overlapping groups....

delivered a near-death knell to the state’s Republican Party.

Long gone are the days when the GOP nominee won CA in 6 straight general elections - '68 through '88.

The Catholic bishops’ strategy to destroy the pro-life movement, bringing in hordes of people who vote 70% pro-abortion, is working.

Yup. 1965 Immigration Act + open borders + a quarter million Mohammedans per year + the relentless progressive brainwashing of grade school and college students = a near-death knell not just for CA, but for the entire country.

Californians who worked to pass Prop 187 back in 1994 can say that that they tried stop it.

But not only were they opposed by La Raza and the Democratic Party Left, they were fought tooth and nail by the GOPe Treason Lobby. Which included Jack Kemp, Bill Bennett, and the then Governor of Texas, GW Bush.

2ndDivisionVet, you know I like and respect you.
You’re one of the ones who make Free Republic the best Conservative site on the net, but could you please let up on the Trump attacks?

As a native Texan, you know I’d like one of our own as president, but I have thoroughly researched Cruz’ background, and found him unsuitable.
Have you really researched him?

The longed for revolution against corrupt politicians and the corrupt administration who has stolen our country from us is here. Now is our chance to act. At last we have a nominee for president who hears and understands our anger and frustration. That man is Donald Trump.
At last we have a nominee who is not PC crippled, a fighter- a man who is owned by no one. A man who hears the voice of We the People, and is willing to stand up and fight for us- a man who is non establishment, but is one of us. Our voice.

On the other hand, we have Cuban-Canadian Ted Cruz.

(if this link is dead, Google it. Many sources)

Alumni, roommates, law clerks, former staffers in the George W. Bush campaign and White House (and the president himself), members of Congress and others who have known Cruz — lots and lots of people — consider him socially awkward, nasty, dishon
httpest, a blatant apple-polisher and all-around creepy guy. You can write off a few of these critics as jealous of his success, or liberal antagonists, but all of them? There is something badly amiss here. Cruz, who so obviously lacks emotional intelligence, cannot recognize it, but those closest to him surely must see that something is awry...

Vet, don’t you think there MUST a good reason WHY Cruz is so disliked and mistrusted?

Ted Cruz the senator: Heard but not seen
The Texas Republican seriously lags most of his colleagues in attending hearings and casting votes.
Ted Cruz came to Washington two-and-a-half years ago pledging to be the anti-senator. But he’s been more like the no-show senator.
The Texas Republican seriously lags most of his colleagues in attending hearings and casting votes in what has been a Senate career long on rhetoric and short on Senate business.
He’s skipped the vast majority of Armed Services Committee hearings, is below-average in attendance on his other major committees and ranks 97th during the first three months of this year in showing up for roll call votes on the Senate floor. ... -Read more: Ted Cruz the senator: Heard but not seen (Google it. Many sources confirm this)

Vet, Cruz can’t be bothered to show up for the job he was elected to do!

Cruz wants to cut our Senior’s Social Security benefits. Donald does not:
http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2016/01/31/this-presidential-candidate-wants-to-cut-social-se.aspx
(it’s true. Google it)

Cruz is a member of a radical religious cult (Father speak in ‘tongues):

In a sermon last year, Rafael Cruz said that his son is among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as “kings” to take control of all sectors of society. This is a Christian dominionist agenda that’s commonly called the “Seven Mountains” mandate: (1) Business; (2) Government; (3) Media; (4) Arts and Entertainment; (5) Education; (6) Family; and (7) Religion. If “Seven Mountains” is too abstract, “Creeping Christofascism” puts a much finer point to it.
http://aattp.org/flashback-rafael-cruz-calls-son-ted-cruz-an-anointed-king-responsible-for-the-end-time-transfer-of-wealth/
Cruz’ father let a man speak in his church who stated homosexuals should be killed! (I’m against them, but KILL THEM???) (Google all above. Many sources confirm)

Cruz flip-flops on amnesty and illegal invaders.Ted Cruz only talks tough on immigration now because he did so badly in S.C. He is in favor of amnesty and weak on illegal immigration. (Google it. Sources are many to confirm)

What if he is disqualified at the last minute because he is not eligible, having been born in Canada?

This is only the tip of the iceberg, Vet.

Please give all this some consideration.

Thank you
