Really? You really think that the first indication that Hillary had bad judgment was when she was Secretary of State?

She is a Democrat so socially we know between the husband and victims she was into power over anything, but not until she became SOC did we see maybe hundreds of thousands killed for her actions.

You’re wasting your time reading and responding to the many anti Trumps who post every morning, like an alcoholic needing that eye opener.

I’m convinced it’s definitely a mild form of mental illness. You can see it people also like this George
will, Steve hayes and this Kristol fella.

Oh man, that's a dealbreaker for me. That's it, game over. Time to vote for Hillary (s/)

Or, you could vote for a real conservative running on the repub ticket........but, if Hillary is your second choice then I guess you have to roll with your conscious.

“Less than a decade ago, Donald Trump could be spotted on TV or in print gushing over Hillary Clinton.”

“Less than a decade ago”?

There are VOTES and there are ACTIONS and there are ACCOMPLISHMENTS and there are flattering comments.

Which do people take to the band?

“band” meant “bank”.

“In post after post we read supporters of Donald Trump tell us how they will bet in the polling booth that the Donald Trump will maintain his newly acquired conservative veneer once he gains ultimate political power.”

Discounting the fad-issue of the moment, I have personally witnessed Trump say the same things he says now, at least 25 years ago. There is an old Oprah interview out.

“They even go so far as to compare him favorably with the man who actually stood up for conservative values when and where it counted, Ted Cruz. This is the ultimate elevation not of hope over reason but of Messiah/man on horseback over reason. Logic is not an ingredient of Kool-Aid.”

“Messiah/man”? You must be ignoring all the praise by Cruz supporters that assign him a divine status.

Yes, Cruz really stood up for conservative values when he voted for Obama’s pet agenda projects — TPA and the Corker bill.

I listened carefully to Rush’s comment on the Cruz/Rubio dust-up over the Gang of Eight bill. He embedded/covered over Cruz’s compromising stance on legalization of illegals.

Trump supporters support Trump because of what we think he will do to restore the country. Cruz supporters seem to support Cruz just for his state of being.

“The consistent motivating factor in everything in Donald Trump’s biography shouts at us: ambition.”

I agree, that is truly odd: I’ve never heard of an ambitious politician before, especially one running for President.

TBP, you seem to be in the anti-Trump column today.

Let Conan be your spiritual guide:

Mongol General: Hao! Dai ye! We won again! This is good, but what is best in life?
TBP: The open steppe, fleet horse, falcons at your wrist, and the wind in your hair. I am also fond of the calm, measured lies of Uniparty candidates.
Mongol General: Wrong! Conan! What is best in life?
Conan: Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.
Mongol General: That is good! That is good. I also like Trump!

And yet Trump has the most conservative policy objectives of anyone running. Wouldn’t that mean you are not a conservative for failing to recognize that?

And jealousy, Trump is running away with it leaving all their establishment candidates in the dust.

Unless I took a very long nap and nationalizing health care became a "conservative policy objective" whilst I slept, I rather doubt it.

George Washington appeared at the Continental Congress wearing his uniform no doubt as a signal that he was ambitious for the appointment as commander-in-chief of the Continental Army, which the Continental Congress granted him upon the recommendation of John Adams.

In that sense George Washington was clearly ambitious. But George Washington also retired from the Army at the conclusion of the revolution and he retired from the presidency when he completed two terms. Washington was not ambitious in a negative sense but in a wholesome sense of the word.

Donald Trump is no George Washington, Donald Trump is no Cincinnatus because Trump's ambition assumes the element of narcissism. George Washington placed his his property, his life, and his sacred honor at risk to serve his ambition for the liberty of his countrymen. Donald Trump risks nothing. Money is not an issue, he is not at personal physical risk, he will not be hanged if he loses.

Donald Trump's entire biography is replete with examples of him sacrificing principles at the altar of his own personal ambition. There is no example I can think of when Donald Trump sacrificed or even risked his fortune, his life, or whatever remains of his honor for the benefit of anyone other than Donald Trump.

We might inquire of those damaged by Trumpäs serial corporate bankruptcies about Trumpäs honor when his ambition was at stake.

Nor do I admit that the tactic of relativism can spare the truth about the ambition of Donald Trump. His ambition is not excused because other men who sought the presidency were also ambitious. Donald Trump must be judged on his own absolute lack of merits.

And so it continues… now we must add the name Rush Limbaugh to the list of people who must be wrong so that Donald Trump can be right.

Plenty of people here INSISTED George W. Bush was going to be a great president too....and they were also wrong.

"Donald Trump risks nothing. Money is not an issue, he is not at personal physical risk, he will not be hanged if he loses."

You must be brain dead, pure garbage. Trump has lost millions in contracts because of his controversial views on immigration and Muslims. Dozens of boycotts have been launched against his products and his properties.

He is now under secrete service protection because of numerous credible threats to his life.

Quit posting out right lies about Trump, it makes you look stupid.
