Now a new question,.... If we passed a law to make both parents have to be citizens, is it just a law or is it a Constitutional change taking 3/4 of the states? The original intent basically says that, but it seems to have been changed.

That’s true. McCain had two American citizens for parents. And his father was in our military, so even though he really didn’t meet the natural born citizenship meaning, Congress passed the resolution. (Maybe in preparation for an Obama run.)
Obama gives us a phony birth certificate and Republicans roll over and play dead. My thoughts are that Obama was born in Hawaii and may even have two American parents, one being a pedophile communist, Frank Marshall Davis. He is either hiding that or the fact that he was adopted by his Indonesian step-father or both. We never got to see his passport.
If anyone thinks the Dems will roll over and play dead, they are dreaming. They may even want Cruz so they can challenge his eligibility. Alan Grayson is an idiot as we all know, but he is just the first one that will be making the claim to Cruz’ eligibility. The Dems will go after Cruz in a group. Unlike the birthers. We only had Orly making any serious attempts in the courts.
The difference with Cruz and Obama, not counting whatever Obama is hiding, is that Obama officially was born in Hawaii (on the phony birth certificate) while Cruz was born in Canada, has a foreign born father, who had Canadian citizenship and ran a business in Canada. I don’t know how long he ran the business, but Cruz spent at least his first four years in Canada. And his father only became an American citizen in 2005. Most people believe he was fighting against Castro, but he was actually fighting against Batista who was an American ally at the time.
Also Cruz did not give up his dual citizenship until recently. He said his mother told him he did not need to do anything. He is a lawyer and I would have thought he would check on this for himself.
I stand corrected on the location of his birth. I thought I remembered some congress folks claiming he was born on military property. Probably Trent Lott.
But I still say congress “approved” his eligibility when they passed the non binding resolution. And notice in my original post “approved” is in quotation marks.
But my point is they KNEW Obama was going to be running and that it would probably come up. And who did they run against him? A man who wasn’t eligible.
IIRC correctly, McCain’s mother had to go to an off-base or “outside-the-US zone in the country of Panama. Someone in the congress decided that could be challenged in curt and they passed the resolution declaring McCain eligible to run for president. I don’t have trouble with US military babies born outside the US being eligible to run for president.
Nope, I can guarantee that’s not me. I don’t write columns or letters to the editor or anything like that.
Nor do I. It seems very reasonable.
It just that it opened the door for Obama because Dems will not admit that the Obama situation was entirely different. I don’t know why he was allowed to run without a real birth certificate in the first place. And then he presents a blatant fraud and the Republicans keep quiet.
Logically, I would think you would just need a supreme court ruling declaring a natural born citizen would be a person born in the US of American citizens.
Probably though, an amendment would be safest.

The article is bringing up the subject, if he can not take the statements of individuals, how do you think that works when his enemies bring it up?
The more I hear about this guy from his supporters, the more obvious it becomes that he is not ready for prime time.

History will ook uon Obama’s presidency as staring with the biggest fraud in history and ending with the US endangered and exposed to terrorism. Remember when Obama said there is no war on terrorism in his first year. He was right because he refuses to fight.
