Philip Bobbitt told story yesterday about Churchill being interviewed on his 90th birthday. The interviewer said, “I hope to be able to interview you on your 100th.” Churchill: “You look like a good healthy fellow, you should still be around.”

Not insulting. Just stating an opinion based on a few more facts and observations that you did not seem to have, about the relationship between Jindal and Obama.
Obama has repeatedly sued the Jindal administration; Jindal has counter sued and not backed down.
IMO, Obama may have intentionally started bringing the “refugees” into New Orleans, just to harass Jindal.
He’s term limited, and the LA gubernatorial race is hot right now. The democrats want to undo everything Jindal’s accomplished, and return to biz as usual. If democrat John Bel Edwards gets elected gov, and if a terrorist attrack occurs in Louisiana subsequently, they’ll say —Jindal’s fault. Jindal let them in—just like some on FR are saying.
Jindal knows this. He also knows he’s running out of time in his administration.
That letter is just a first salvo. He’ll do as much pushback as he can in the time he has left.
Jindal and Obama detest each other.
Any suggestion that Jindal is helping Obama to overrun our borders is just silly, notwithstanding the courteous tone of that letter.
But, oh, please forgive me for having an opinion and expressing it after only 4 months here.

He’s now followed up with an Executive Order.
Obama’s refugees aren’t allowed in, LEO’s are to monitor any that have already been snuck in, and all LA budgetary agencies are to comply with the EO as well—meaning no freebies from state coffers to these unvetted immigrants.
